The Big News

IT'S A GIRL !!!!!!

     So sorry to keep many of you waiting. I went in on Monday for my twenty week ultrasound. Mike got stuck in a case and was unable to make it, such is the life of a doctor and his family! We have a health little girl on the way. Rachel is still unsure. When we tell her she is going to have a baby sister she says, "No, brother." I am sure that she really doesn't know what a sister or a brother really is but she has heard us talk about both. Good thing we have 20 weeks to convince her that the baby is a girl!
     I had a great Mother's Day. Mike was off all weekend so we actually started celebrating on Saturday since we had a meeting Rachel went to play with her friend Beth. Mike and I also got to enjoy a dinner downtown without having to entertain a 2 year old. Then Sunday morning Rachel got up at 6 but wanted to snuggle in bed and actually slept until 8. Mike got up and make a wonderful breakfast and then cleaned up the house while I was at church. After church we went down to the river for some food and enjoyed the sun. We then came home for naps and just enjoyed hanging out together the rest of the afternoon.
    We are headed back to North Platte in 2 weeks to look and hopefully buy a house and then onto the ranch for branding. I can't believe that we will be saying goodbye to Missouri in 6 weeks!
