One week from today we will be taking our first plane ride with Rachel. I have been thinking about this a lot and I am hoping for a great trip. We are flying from St. Louis to Salt Lake City and then to Rapid City.
I hope that Rachel will be good. I have started a list of things to take with us and activities for her to do on the plane. She really likes to throw things so I am looking for objects that could be tied down! The flights are only 1 1/2 hours apiece and I can wrestle her threw church without letting her down so I think that this might be a little easier than that.
The Creamer's are letting us borrow their portable DVD player and I just got her a new Blue's Clue's movie so that should at least begin to entertain her.
I hope everyone has a good weekend and I will keep you posted as the day gets closer. We have a busy weekend and week ahead of us.
As many of you know ESPN game day is here in town and it is MIZZOU homecoming so we are going to go out and look at the house decorations on Friday night and might attend the homecoming parade if it is not raining. We are not attending for MIZZOU more for something to do and they do put a lot of time and effort into homecoming here. Then next week we are getting together with friends to carve pumpkins before we leave town.
