A Girls Weekend

   Last week was the first uneventful week we were going to have and then everything changed.  The girls and I stayed home on Monday and Tuesday. I did some house work and we all got rested up from the weekend. Monday was Mike's birthday so I made Lasagna to celebrate. Becca celebrated by eating cereal for the first time.
   Wednesday we went to the Library and Gracie Mae's for play date. We love our Wednesday group and always look forward to our time together. Thursday was just another day until that afternoon.... Rachel came to me and told me that her ear was itching.  Nothing new as she has had a ear full of wax for a couple of weeks. However, this time when I looked into her ear I could see something shinny...Mike took a look and tried to get it out without any luck. So off to the Dr we went. The Dr washed her ear and out came a small metal object. No one is sure what it is, but it is now out and her ear is no longer itchy!
    Friday Wanda came to town and I took off for Denver for my best friend Tammy's birthday. After going over a two page note I left the girls with Grandma and Daddy for 2 days. I had a great time in Denver and the girls enjoyed Grandma. Rachel even wanted to go to the ranch with Grandma when she left on Sunday.
   Today Becca is 4 months old. How can that be?? She is still not rolling over but she can sit for short periods of time and is now sleeping mostly through the night. She wakes around 3 or 4 for her binkie or to rock then back to sleep until 6 or 7. She loves her cereal and to squeal at her sister. I can't wait to see what new things she learns this month. We go to the Dr tomorrow so her growth stats will be in next weeks blog.
