September 26-October 2
Monday the kids had school and Alec went to play with Sam and Babs while I ran some errands since they didn't have school and Babs is now working more so she has not been able to see the kids as much and misses them. It was cool on Monday so I made chili for supper. This year I canned some chili base and I would have to say this batch of chili was some of the best I have made. Rachel even tried it and liked it after claiming she does not like any kind of chili or soup! Tuesday we went to Jazzercise and then picked up Ashlynn Murdock so Michelle could go to some meetings and get some things done. The kids love having Ashlynn here and she is such a good baby. Becca was sad that Ashlynn left while she was at school as she loves helping me with Ashlynn. Tuesday night we get to the St. Pat's vs. Mullen volleyball game. St. Pat's won and Babs sang the national anthem before the Varsity game. The kids enjoyed watching Babs play, cheering with the cheerleaders, and eating snacks.

Friday Lisa took Rachel to school and then she rode home with the neighbors and Mike picked her up and they came to Kearney after he got done with work. Alec and Becca spent the day with Cindy; they went out to lunch, to the Children's Museum and played outside. I helped Tammy decorate for the reception and finish up last minute wedding stuff. Mom and Dad got to town just in time for us to head to rehearsal since Mike had to work. After the kids were done with rehearsal Mom and Dad took them back to Cindy's to go to bed. Dad, Kent, and Mike went to the hockey game while Mom and Cindy watched the kids and I went to the rehearsal supper.
