Things still have not slowed down. Last week the Creamer Family came to visit. They were in town from Monday until Thursday. We did all kinds of things while they were in town. The girls had a blast playing together and got along most of the time. It was really good to see them but it also made me realize how much I miss them.
On Friday Nick and Melissa came to visit and brought Rachel a new puppy. Mike has named him Roger. Rachel really likes him and the first thing we do every morning is go out and let him out of his pen and feed and water him. He also gets some treats and we get to play for a little bit. I can't wait until it is not so hot so that we can spend more time outside with him.
Mike is once again working on the main computer so again I am not able to post any pictures. As soon as he gets some more parts in I am hoping to get to download pictures of the new house, the Creamer visit, and Roger.
This past weekend we also joined some friends at the lake in Sutherland. It was good to see some old friends and Rachel had a blast playing in the water all day. We managed to escape the sunburns and all got a nice tan. Rachel loved to ride on the boat and just sitting in the water and playing. Then on Sunday Aaron and Liza and the kids came to town. Liza and Sean went to to the last Harry Potter and Aaron, Mike, Ashlyn, Rachel, and I went to the community theater and watched Alice in Wonderland. It was really cute and Rachel loved it. She had some problems sitting still as she did not get a nap before the play, but she was always excited to see Alice and let everyone know.
We hope everyone has a good week and only 9 weeks until we become a family of 4. Mike starts work on Monday and takes his written boards in two weeks. Needless to say this is the last week we will see Mike between the hours of 4 am and 7 pm.
