We stayed home most of last week and enjoyed the nice weather by playing outside. Tuesday we met Janice and Makia at the dog park. Roger and Makia had fun playing and Rachel got to run around and try to stay out of the dogs way. We then let Roger go swimming before we went to the park for a picnic. After we ate Becca got to try out the park swing for the first time. She was not really sure what to think. Rachel loves to swing and after she played for awhile on the swings we left cody park and went to the park by Mike's office. At the second park Rachel got to play on the teeter-totter and the slides. She also did some more swinging then it was home for naps.
Wednesday we went to the library for story hour and then to Gracie Mae's for lunch. After lunch it was home for naps and cleaning. Thursday and Friday we stayed home during the day. Friday evening Nick and Melissa came to town and the girls and I went to the ranch with them.
Mike met us in Mullen on Saturday were we all got to enjoy Sean wrestling and got the spend the afternoon with Grandma Kitty. We ordered some food from the drive-in and the guys all enjoyed playing cards while the kids played outside.
Sunday Rachel and I went with Mike, Nick and Granddad to feed. Rachel even got to pet a cow and feed them cake. She was pretty excited to see the baby calf and thought that it was pretty funny that her dad called the cows by saying, "Come Boss!" After lunch on Sunday we came back home and tried to adjust to the time change.
Becca has had a cough for about 2 weeks and did not sleep very good this weekend so today we went to the Dr. She has ear infection. It is her first one and we caught it early so I think we will be good. After the Dr we went to play with Cathy and Bentley Brunz. Bentley and Becca are about 8 weeks apart and they are just getting fun to watch try to play together. This summer will be a lot of fun and Cathy and I are already trying to plan our weeks out! We all went for a walk today and even took all the kids to the park. The babies enjoyed the swing and Rachel enjoyed all the kids and running around at the park.
I hope that everyone gets to get out a little and enjoy some of the nice weather this week. I know that we will. Until next week. Good night.
Becca found her toes and loves them. Diaper changes are a bit of a challenge now.
Becca and Bentley swinging together.
Becca liked the swing a lot more today.
Not sure what to think. A little scared.
She loves to go higher and higher.
This was Rachel's outfit for one of the walks this past week. The hat was not a good idea as the wind was blowing and it would not stay on. She told me when we got home that her hat needs to stay home next time.
Becca loves to eat and play in her highchair!
