The theme for this month is on the road! We traveled again last weekend, this time to Mullen. We stayed home on Friday and after Mike got done with work we decided to go to Hershey for dinner. We ate a Butch's which was good bar food and while we were there we meet up with some other people formally from Mullen. After dinner we went to their house so the girls could play. Rachel and Jensen will be in the same preschool class next year. We all had a great time and Rachel keeps asking to go back.
Saturday we got up early and went to Mullen. The girls and I dropped Mike off at the 700 yards so he could help with shipping. The girls and I then went to Grandma and Granddads to eat lunch and take naps with Melissa and Tucker. After naps we packed up and headed back to Mullen to celebrate Becca's birthday with Kitty at the nursing home. Kitty was not feeling well so we went out to Aaron and Liza's for some cupcakes and presents. We then went to the fairgrounds for Brandy Simonson's wedding reception. The girls had a blast playing and Becca was a crazy girl in her walker until a shoe fell off and she was running in the sand-burrs.
Sunday we got up and came back to North Platte and had lunch with Nick and Melissa. Then we came home and watched The Lorax. It was a really cute movie. Monday the girls and I did housework. Monday night the girls went to spend some time with Grandma Priest while Mike and I went to the hospital to visit Grandma Kitty. (She has pneumonia) Tuesday Rachel had school and I visited with Kitty again. Today we went to story time at the library and then we played with Hanna and Kate Raatz.
This weekend we are again traveling to Kearney for Tessa's shower and to celebrate Becca and Jaidyn's birthdays. Go Big Red and have a great week!
