My Baby Is ONE!!!

Finally I am maybe going to get everyone up to date on what is going on in our lives. Rebecca is ONE and finally getting more teeth.
We had 3 birthday parties for Becca this year. The first one was in Mullen. We had planned on having her party at the nursing home but that was the first day Kitty was not felling well so we actually went out to Aaron and Liza's and had cupcakes and opened a couple presents.
The second party was in Kearney on the 22nd. We had a shower for Tessa Saturday afternoon and the girls and I go to town around noon to attend the shower. After the shower we went to Cindy and Kent's and had a joint birthday party with Becca and Jaidyn. The girls seemed to enjoy themselves. They each got some clothes, a new huskers dress, and Becca got a Princess castle that she loves. As long as her sister remember to let her play with it. (Rachel is doing pretty well but sometimes we have to remind her who's present it really is. She always replies with a sad face, "It is Becca's. She got it for her Birthday, but she will share with me right?")
The third party was on the 23rd, Becca's actual birthday. All Becca's North Platte friends came over to play. The Brunz family, The Luttrel's, Lisa, Rebekah, and Sam Troshynski, The Dewey Family, and The Raatz Family. Becca got lots of gifts and really enjoyed her party. She wanted to get into the cake but settled for a cake pop as mom didn't want everyone to have to try to eat around Becca's smash marks.
Last week was another busy week with school, play dates and then Becca and I traveled to Mullen on Thursday to attend Kitty's memorial service at the nursing home. It was a great service and everyone there really misses her as do we. Becca was very entertaining as she loves to dance and every song that they played she danced to. I am not sure, but she may be the only one that has ever danced to funeral music but she loved every minute of it and I know Kitty was smiling watching down on her!
Rachel had school on Thursday so Lisa picked her up and they went to Gothenburg with the cheerleaders to cheer on the Cross Country team. Rachel had a blast and she even told me on Tuesday when I took her to school where they picked up her friends the cheerleaders. I think we will be going to more St. Pat's events so that Rachel can see her friends!
All in all we have had a busy last couple of weeks. A couple weeks ago I looked at the calendar and October was wide open with nothing planned. Now we have something every weekend and a couple activities during each week. Man what am I going to do when both girls are in school?!

Becca Loves her Car from us. She would not get out that night and even tipped it over and cried because I picked her up.
I can not believe she is 1 already.

She loves baby dolls. This one came from The Dewy family.

Getting ready to go to the River City Roundup Rodeo on Friday night.
Kate and Hanna rode to Omaha with us. I love this picture of the three girls.
Rachel got finger nail polish and lip stuff from Josh and Keira for Becca's birthday.

She really had to concentrate to get all her toes painted!
