The End of October

  Really this is the last week in October and it is really only half a week. Where is this year going. I can not believe it is already time to start making calendar's for the new year. The year 2013, how did that happen?
  Last week was a normal busy week. We stayed home on Monday as Rachel woke up with really bad ear and head pain. I moved her to the couch around 7:30 am and she only got up when I carried her to the bathroom twice that day and once to eat dinner. Tuesday morning she was still complaining of pain so I took her to the Dr. What do you know ear infection! By Tuesday afternoon she was much better and even got to go outside and enjoy the nice weather for a little bit but was not able to go the school.  Since she did not get to go to school we had a camp out. We ate steaks outside and roasted a couple marshmallows.
  Wednesday we went to the Children's museum  Then Thursday we got snow and Rachel could not eat breakfast fast enough. She loves playing in the snow, now if she can just train Roger that her gloves are not toys. After she was done playing in the snow we went to town for gymnastics and school. Friday we stayed home and then went to town for a welcome dinner for all the new Physicians.  Rachel was really excited to go play with some new friends at the hotel.
   Saturday we went to Kearney in the morning and helped carve pumpkins then came back to town around 5 and went to a Husker Party at The Raatz house. Rachel was really excited to finally get to wear her costume. Sunday was church and lunch then we came home and the girls and I napped.
