Branding 2014

     Branding 2014 is in the books and I have some pretty cute pictures to share from the weekend. We enjoyed nice weather and good company. Overall the weekend went very well and the family time was pretty low key.

    First let's look back at the week; Monday we went to Lisa'a and sat with Grandma Lou while Marty and Lisa were on their way back from Omaha. Michelle came over to visit with us while we were there and the kids had a good time playing. That afternoon we came home and made our first water slide. The kids had a blast. Alec even enjoyed the water for a little while.

   Tuesday I did some laundry and cleaning in the morning while Becca and Alec took and early nap. That afternoon we went to the Country Club to swim. Alec loves the water and Rachel and Becca had a good time playing with Cyline. Gwen and I enjoyed watching the kids swim. Sam even got to go with us and Rachel enjoyed having someone to swim in the big pool with her.

   Wednesday we went to Jazzercise in the morning and then came home for lunch and naps. Mike had a meeting out at the Country Club that evening so the kids and I went swimming. Michelle, Laura, Diane, Easton, and Brendan were also at the pool. We had supper on the patio and then came home for bed.

  Thursday I took the kids to Lisa's and ran a bunch of errands in town before coming home and packing for our weekend at the Ranch. Mike got home around 3 and we headed to town to pick up kids and on to the ranch. We played outside and had supper before turning in for the night. Alec was in bed at 6:30 mountain time. Poor boy was tired. He did sleep all night but was up at 5:30. Don't worry Becca was up with him and she didn't go to bed early.

   Friday was branding. I did not go to the corals this year but Rachel enjoyed going with Lisa, Auntie J, and Uncle Larry. Becca, Alec and I stayed and help get food ready and played with Tucker and Kelcee. The rest of Friday was spent playing and singing. Saturday we played mostly in the shop while it was rainy and then enjoyed some time swimming after the sun came up.

  We packed up Sunday and came home. Aaron and Liza gave the girls a Step 2 play house and they could not wait to play in it. They spent the afternoon playing while Mike built me a garden and mowed. I followed Alec around as he is really on the move and is not afraid to crawl in grass, on cement or anywhere.
