Becca is Growing

Becca is no longer a baby and she will remind you if you call her baby Becca or ask her to be your baby. The other day I asked her why she couldn't be my baby anymore and she pointed to Alec and said, "Mom here is your baby!" It is so fun to watch her now that Rachel is in school full time. She really misses her but she loves being the big girl and helping with Alec. She gets to walk and hold my hand and help me at Walmart. She gets to be the last one in the car and the one to pick the movies. She gets to decide on snack and where to go for lunch. She loves being the big girl, but the moment she sees Rachel she gets the biggest grin on her face and always wants a hug.
Monday was the first full day of school for Rachel. We dropped her off at school and then came home and cleaned and did some laundry. We then played outside and waited for the bus to come around 4:15. Rachel had a very good day at school; she ate all her lunch and enjoyed riding the bus. Tuesday we went to Jazzercise after dropping off Rachel. I kind of forgot how much I enjoyed my 1 hr of exercise without the kids. It was amazing. After Jazzercise we went to Walmart and then came home for nap time. Our friend Debbie had a Dr. appointment for Hadley so Barrett came to play with Becca. They played outside the whole afternoon and Alec was not so excited that Becca had another person to play with. We then took some pictures of Hadley and then they went home.
Wednesday we went to Jazzercise then stopped over at Grandma Priest's to check on her. Phyllis had a stent put in her aorta on Monday in Lincoln. Wanda and Auntie J went with her and we had not seen her since she had been home so we stopped to see how she was doing, then went to the museum. After the museum we went to lunch at The Pop Corner with Woodburn's. It was then time for naps and waiting for Rachel to get off the Bus.
Thursday we stayed home and worked on house work. Wanda came out after naps and watched the kids so that I could mow. The bus usually goes down Crane View around 4, drops another kid off, turns around and then drops Rachel off about 4:15. On Thursday Wanda saw the bus head back to Walker on Crane View without stopping at our house. At first it was not a big deal, maybe it was a different bus, but as the time got closer to 4:30 I began to wonder if Rachel go on the bus. About 4:35 I got a call from our bus driver that she forgot to drop off Rachel and wanted to know if it was okay if Rachel just road the rest of the route with her and then she dropped her off. Rachel said that it was a long bus ride on Thursday.
Friday we went to Jazzercise and after Jazzercise I did the ALS ice bucket challenge, thanks for the nomination Rebekah Troshynski! We then went and got a snack and cup of coffee with Lisa before getting Becca's haircut. She did very good and was so excited to get sparkles put in her hair. Friday evening the kids went to Troshynski's while Mike and I attended the "Love The Wine Your With" event at the country club. We golfed 4 holes before the golf event got called due to rain. We then moved inside for the social part. Mike was on call but got to enjoy most of the evening before headed back to the hospital.
Saturday the kids and I got up and headed to town to pick up our Bountiful Basket. Sam road along with us and watched the kids while I picked up the basket. We then delivered some of the food back to Lisa's and stopped to see Grandma Priest before coming home. We went to church Saturday night and picked up Rebekah so she could watch the kids while Mike and I went to a house warming for Matt Pederson. Sunday we just hung out and then went to Cody Park for lunch and rides. After the park we all came home and napped then watched Rio 2 for family movie night.
