Halloween Finally

The girls have been planning their Halloween costumes since last Halloween and they had some pretty crazy ideas but when Sandi's wedding fell the week before the wedding I finally convinced the girls to just go to Walmart and pick out their favorite character to be this year. So here was the hectic week leading up to Halloween 2015.
Monday we took Rachel to school then came home for a little while before heading back to the school for Red Ribbon week assembly. Becca and Alec were so good we decided to surprise Rachel and stay and have lunch with her, okay so neighbor Melissa talked me into staying by helping me get trays for the little two and then we surprised Rachel. It was fun to have lunch with her and her school friends!
Tuesday we took Rachel and Becca to school and then Alec and I finally made it back to Jazzercise. I really do miss those classes when I take time off, and it is always such a great feeling to be back in class and have that hour to myself! After school we came home played outside and did some laundry. Alec took another long nap as I think he is still trying to catch up from the weekend.
Wednesday was wacky clothes and hair day for red ribbon week so we had to get up a little extra early to get Rachel's hair, makeup, and clothes ready for the day. We didn't end up going to Jazzercise this day as I really needed to get the house in order from the weekend. I also needed to get Alec and Becca's clothes sorted as they seem to have both had a growth spurt and could not find any clothes in their closets that actually fit them. I did manage to get in some workout time on the treadmill and enjoyed visiting with Grandma Priest while the girls were in CCD that evening.
Thursday Becca had her Halloween party so we had a busy morning getting her all ready before heading out the door to take both her and Rachel to school. Alec and I went to Jazzercise and then we just came home and played that evening. Friday we took Rachel to school then came home and got the kids lunch and tried to get Alec to wear his costume for the Halloween Parade at school. He decided that being a cowboy this year was way more fun than his transformer costume so that is what he went as. The kids enjoyed seeing all the costumes at the Halloween parade and that evening we all got dressed up and went over to a friend's house for a costume party. The kids had a great time playing with all the other kids and were all asleep in the car on the way home.
Saturday we had a baby shower for Baby Ashlynn and Michelle. The kids and I enjoyed visiting and then when Aaron and Wanda got to town they picked up Becca and Alec while Rachel and I stayed to help clean up. Andy, Debbie, Barrett, and Hadley came out to the house to watch the game and to help Mike build his office in the shop. That evening Aaron went trick or treating with us and Granddad even came to town to see the kids. We had a great night trick or treating with friends and ended the evening with the Raatz family. Rachel ended up staying the night as she and Hanna were the last 2 up.
Sunday Nick also came to town to help Mike and I went to church and picked up Rachel before coming home and making lunch for everyone before they left town. They did manage to get all the walls up and sheet rocked for Mike's office and most of the electrical put in.
