June 19-25

   Monday all the kids started swimming lessons. Alec was so excited to go and then found out he was in a different class than last year and didn't want to get in the pool. He finally did and had fun but was smaller than most the other kids and a lot younger. Rachel was invited to a birthday party that afternoon and then had her friend Chloe come spend the night. We celebrated Alec's birthday at the country club with friends Monday night. He got lots of golf and ninja turtle things. Stacy even got him his own wallet which he was very excited about.

  Tuesday the kids again had swim. Alec only sat on the edge for a couple minutes before joining his class today. We took Chloe home after swimming lessons and then came home and played. Alec and Becca both did Muttin Busttin that evening. It was very hot and Alec was too young to qualify but they had fun. Becca rode her sheep for a little bit then did a flip getting off. She made the paper so she said it was worth it. We ate at the arena before coming home, taking baths and heading to bed.

   Wednesday we had swimming again and then we surprised the kids with a visit from Patsy and Cindy. They came to town early and played with us before going to watch Becca and Rachel each play ball. The girls both played at 6 but their fields were right next to each other so we were able to see both of them play.

  Thursday after swimming we went out to Traci's cabin to play while the cable guy was working. After he was done we picked up some lunch at Jimmy John's and came home to play on the slip n slide. Babs came out that night to watch the kids while Mike and I went to Taps and Tunes.

   Friday we stayed home and played and cleaned. Rebekah and her friend Hailey came out to watch the girls and give us a ride to the concert. Mike and I enjoyed watching Dwight Yoakam and Alan Jackson in concert with friends.

Saturday we stayed home and got the house ready for guests. Kate, Justin, and the kids came to stay with us. They got a late start so didn't get here until right before it was time to go to town for dinner at Stacy's house. Maci and her friend Lilly came to watch the kids. We had a great dinner at Stacy's and then all went to the concert together.

 Sunday we just hung-out and let the kids play all day. Justin had to go to Sydney to work but Kate and the kids stayed with us. I mowed and we watched movies. A perfect lazy Sunday!
