June 13 - June 19

Monday June 13th Rachel had weights in the morning then Rachel and Becca both attended a volleyball camp in Ogallala. After taking the girls to camp I came back to Hershey for a Teammates meeting then came home to get Alec ready for his baseball game in Ogallala. We drove back over and picked the girls up then went to Open Range to eat while we waited for the game to start. It was a very hot day and 107 degree's when the baseball game started. Alec forgot his glove so Mike had to bring it to him.  The boys lost but had fun.  Tuesday Rachel had weights again and then the girls had another day of volleyball camp. After taking them to Ogallala I came home and Alec and I cleaned out the camper and worked on laundry. After camp Rachel had volleyball and then we spent some time outside.

Wednesday Rachel had weights and then went to Sarah's to swim. I came home and mowed and then Mike, Alec, and I went to night #1 of the Buffalo Bill Rodeo. This is one of Alec's favorite weeks of the year!

Babies getting so big!

Thursday Rachel had weights then we meet up with Jade, Rex, Red, Tara, Sarah, and Alex at Sutherland to play at the lake.  We then came home and showered and rested before heading in to the Rodeo for Hospital night. The girls do not love the rodeo like Alec but they enjoy going for at least one night.

Pool Day with Friends

Friday we all decided to sleep in  and spent most the day inside as it was very windy and still over 100. I did run to town in the afternoon and ran some errands. Alec then had a home baseball game and as soon as it was over we headed to town for night #3 of the rodeo. Mike was on call and was not able to join us but we had a great time.

So tired!
Saturday was Alec's 9th Birthday. He was so excited to do all of his favorite things. He woke up and opened presents, then we had Bleu for the afternoon while Lisa worked concession stands. We went to church and then dropped the girls back at off at home and Bleu with a babysitter. We then went to the FNBO dinner and they served steaks and Cory found out it was Alec's birthday and got us chute passes to watch the rodeo above the bucking chutes. It was a great day to be 9. When we got home from the rodeo Rachel was up and had a horrible earache.

So hot the deer are even coming into the yard for shade,

This is 9!
Sunday was Father's Day. Mike had to round and work in the morning. I went to the junior rodeo to watch Claire and some of the kids from Hershey. I then picked up Cane's for lunch. We spent the rest of the day watching movie's and staying cool. By Sunday evening Rachel's ear was oozing so Monday brought a call to the Dr.
