Thursday night Wanda was in town and came out to visit. We also Skyped for the first time with the Creamer Family. It was so cute to see Rachel and Beth's reaction to being able to see each other. They were so excited and spent most of the time being silly. We are hoping to get on again tonight. It was really good to see them but makes me really miss them as we have spent the last 3 Thanksgivings and Christmas's with them. I am really excited to be able to spend that holiday's with family this year, but will also miss our friends as well.
Friday we went to town and had lunch with Grandma Priest. We always have a great time with her. Rachel loves to play with some butterfly molds that she has and Rebecca loves to cuddle with Grandma. I enjoy the adult conversation.
Saturday morning the girls and I traveled to Kearney to meet up with Nicky, Kinley, Ansley, Kristi, London, Katie and Tanner. Cindy was gracious enough to watch all the kids as Nicky, Kristi, and I went shopping. Nicky and I got a start on Christmas shopping and Kristi just went along to chat. After shopping the girls and I went to see my friends Amy and Craig and baby Brooklyn. We were not able to stay long but got to see there new house and they got to meet Rebecca.
After our short visit we went back to Cindy's, changed the kids into there Disney outfits and took them to Disney on Ice. With the help of my cousin Dylan we got all the kids inside, got our popcorn and snow cones, and were ready for the show.
What a show. The kids were all amazed and had a great time. They could not take there eyes off the ice. We got to see Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Snow White, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Lion King, and Tangled. Rachel was so excited to see all her favorite characters. She was kind of sad when it got over but after 2 hrs she was ready to get up and move around.
Sunday we got up and hung out, ate lunch then the girls and I came home. Mike got me an elliptical and we spent most of the evening putting it together. Now the big question is to nap today or work out. I would like to do both, but there is also laundry and a house to clean as I only have 3 day's this week to get everything done.
The pictures do not even begin to show the excitement that the kids had for Disney. I can't wait for the next show to take them again. I am very Thankful for a great family to experience things like this with. A wonderful aunt that loves to entertain and watch the kids, and for the funds to be able to take Rachel to activities like this. I hope that each and everyone of you have a great Thanksgiving.
Silly faces. Tanner and Katie went home after the show.
The best of 10 pictures. If only Rachel had her eyes open.
Ansley wanted to hold both babies.
Rebecca and Brooklyn Farlee
Brooklyn is 21 days older that Rebecca. I can't wait to see them grow up together.
Rebecca and Jaidyn 21 days apart.
