So much has happened since my last post. Wednesday the girls and I went to the Library. Becca slept and Rachel and I did puzzles. Rachel loves to do puzzles, if she only could understand that now all puzzles are made for her to put together. Let's just say that the puzzle of the united states got boring and I ended up putting it together. After the library we went to Gracie Mae's with some friends. Rachel loves to eat at Gracie Mae's as they have a toy kitchen and book to play with while I chat and we wait for our food.
Wednesday night Rachel came down with the flu. I felt so bad for her as she would look at me with tear filled eyes as if asking me to make her be able to stop. She has more energy than any sick person I have ever seen. She wanted to get up and run around as soon as she was done getting sick (or choking as she likes to refer to it). Thursday she was still choking if she ate anything and Friday she just wanted to lay on the couch all morning. I got all my cleaning done as Rebecca still sleeps most the morning.
By Friday afternoon everyone was back to normal as Pat and Wanda came out and ate supper with us. Mike tried to start his car after installing the new motor. He was not successful buy did get it running this morning. He now has an oil leak but at least he got the engine to run.
Saturday I went to town to help decorate for the hospital Gala. Wanda watched the girls while Pat and Mike worked on the car. We all meet in town for lunch with some of Pat's cousins. Then it was home for nap and time to get ready for the Gala. Sandi got here just in time to help with my hair, and Mike and I were off for the first night out without the girls. We had a great time and even got to meet 2 sets of neighbors. Mom and Dad came to town and got to visit with Pat and Wanda while we were out.
Sunday morning we got up and made food before going to church for Becca's baptism. After the service we had a nice baptism for Becca. Aaron and Sandi are her godparents and Nick and Melissa also came to town. After Baptism we came out here to the house and had dinner. Then it was off to drop the kids off at my cousin's for the evening while Mike and I attended his office Christmas dinner. It was good to see all the girls that help Mike in the office.
Yesterday was a day of cleaning and rest for the girls and I. Mike came home early and was feeling ill. After a night of rest he is feeling better today. I am just praying that Becca and I don't get it.
This week is pretty low key and the weekend is without plans for now. Here is to a good week and some pictures of the weekend.
I will post our Christmas pictures after I send out Christmas cards. Thank you Mom, Dad and Sandi for helping take our Christmas pictures. The cards turned out so well I can't wait for you to see them.
