Hot Hot Hot and A Little Rain

The best way to describe last week! Monday was a hot and humid day so the girls and I stayed in and played. Mike got home Monday afternoon and we headed to Stapleton for Ashlyn and Sean's ball games. We were late getting out of town and then ran into construction so we didn't get to see Ash play but did get to see all of Sean's game. Tuesday we stayed in again due to the heat.
Wednesday the girls and went to the library for the last story time of the summer. Then we went to Gracie Mae's for my birthday lunch with Heidi and the girls. After lunch the girls went to spend the afternoon with Lisa, Rebekah and Samuel while I did some shopping and then came home and mowed. Wednesday night Mike took the girls and I out to eat at Tempura for my birthday. It was a great day. Thanks to all that text and facebooked me for my birthday.
Thursday was so nice out that the girls and I spend all morning outside. Rachel and I brushed Roger. The girls were on the swings. Then we took some pictures and weeded the play yard. Friday we went to lunch with my friend Michelle and then meet up with Wanda, Liza and the kids at Mike's office. Liza and I then took the kids to some garage sales before we came home and got ready to go to the Toby Keith concert. After much rain and alot of soggy clothes we finally got the see Toby and he put on a great concert!
Saturday Liza and I spend some time at the mall and even got a pedi. After that we came home and Aaron and Mike made ribs for a late lunch. I then got out my birthday present. A brand new camera and took lots of picture of the kids playing on the slip-n-slide. Saturday night we went to the Chris Daughtry concert and again had a great time. Sunday we went to breakfast at the Lakehouse. Then Becca and I went to church. Liza, Ashlyn, Rachel and I then went to the movie Brave while Pat, Wanda, and Mike watched Becca. Sean and Aaron went to Madagascar 3. After the movie the girls and I went to the Logsdon's for some swimming and snacks.
There another busy week. No wonder I am tired today. There was not a lot of down time last week. I would like to close by asking for you to say a couple extra prayers for to very special people in our lives. The first is Grandma Priest, she has not been feeling well and is still waiting on some test results. Please pray that the figure out what is causing her pain and that she is back to her normal self very soon. The second is my sister Sandi who is currently in the hospital due to stomach and chest pain. I pray that they get her felling better soon and figure out what is causing her discomfort.
