A Not So Busy Week Followed By A Busy Weekend

What a week! Starting the week with a holiday and now that Rachel is out of school I am really thankful for the calendar Cindy and Kent gave me at Christmas time or my blog would be really boring and I would never have a clue what we did on which days. I keep the calendar at my desk and anytime I sit down to check email or pay bill I grab the calendar and jot a quick note as to what we did that day or the last couple days as I don't get into my office every day.
Monday we stayed home and cleaned in the morning. Mike went golfing and then we all went over to Murdock's for a Memorial day BBQ. The sky was cloudy but that did not stop the kids from swimming. We joked with Shawn that he invited us all over so the kids would swim and we would all have to take them into his office last week as he is our family practice Dr. Luckily no trips to Shawn's office were needed.
Tuesday was more cleaning and getting the house ready for company. I mowed in the afternoon while Mike trimmed and put down fertilizer. The girls did really good playing and we were able to get all the yard work done in about 3 hrs. Wednesday I finally got to sit down and do some Thank You cards from the shower. I also did a couple loads of baby laundry and got all the clothes ready for the hospital. Thursday I had my OB appointment. The girls enjoyed going over to the neighbors and playing with Pake and Payne. I think Melissa enjoyed a little girls time as well as she has 3 boys. Everything looked good at the OB but he did say that the baby had really dropped and he my see me sooner than a week as he was not so sure that I won't have the baby before Thursday. So far no baby!
Friday I had a massage and pedicure. The girls played at Troshynski's until I got done with my appointments and shopping at Walmart. That evening about 7 the Pearsall Family arrived. Rachel was so excited that her new friends were finally here. We grilled hamburger's and watched the kids play until bedtime. Tyson, Nicole, Camden, and Grady came to stay and also brought along there dog Bella. We had a great time with them all weekend.
After a breakfast Saturday morning the guys went golfing while Nicole and I got the kids ready. We took the kids to Cody Park to feed the animal but due to the high winds all the animal were hiding so we didn't get to feed anything but the wild geese and even that was a challenge  due to the wind. We then went to the country club and joined the guys for lunch. Kate and Hanna also joined us as Justin was golfing with Mike and Tyson. After lunch the wind died down some and the sun came out so Nicole and I took the kids back to Cody Park and let them ride the rides. It was then time for some ice cream and a quick trip to the park where the kids enjoyed the swings and the tetter-totter. The guys finished golfing and we all went to Golden Spike to see the trains. Camden and Grady were really excited. Becca was sleeping so I enjoyed some time off my feet holding Becca while the rest of the crew went to the top of Golden Spike Tower to watch the trains.
Sunday Nicole and I went to church while the guys enjoyed some time with the kids. They all played outside the whole day. We grilled some steaks for lunch and Rachel and Camden even got to make some s'mores while Becca and Grady napped. After some more playing the Pearsall Family packed up and left around 4. We had a great weekend with them and can't wait to see them again. After the Pearsall Family left Grandma Wanda called and said that she was in town after visiting Nick and Melissa and she and Grandma Priest came out for some popcorn and to see the girls. After they left it was time for the girls to go to bed and Mike and I enjoyed a movie before heading to bed ourselves.
There that was our crazy week with a couple more crazy weeks to come. I can not wait to see and hold this little man as I am not longer sleeping very well. I kind of hope he stays until the 18th to make things simple but at the same time we have a great group of friends close here in town that can't wait to help out. Until next week. Enjoy the weather and I hope everyone get some more rain.

Poor thing was kind of sad all day.
Come to find out she has ear infection. I am sure the wind did not feel good.
