Much Needed Snow

What a week. We started out the week nice warm weather and ended with snow. We will take it. As nice as it was to have the girls be able to go out and play, I do enjoy the snow.
Rachel had a busy week with school until she got sick on Wednesday night and missed school on Thursday. She really was not feeling that bad when she got up on Thursday but we were up for a couple hours in the night and I was not sure if she was over being sick. She felt much better the rest of the week and weekend and even got to go to Irish Feast at St. Pat's on Sunday with Lisa and Sam.
Becca was really tired this week. Not sure if she is growing again for just likes to be grumpy. She slept a little better most of the week. But she was up with us on Wednesday night and then up early on Thursday so she was really tired by Friday.
Alec got to have his first real breakfast; pancakes and banana's. He seemed to really enjoy it and loves real food. He also got to eat part of a grilled cheese sandwich at lunch on Friday. He is still working on his bottom teeth and has found out he can really move backwards on his stomach. That being said he has to be in the right mood to lay down otherwise he just buries his face in the floor and cries. He still prefers to sit and play and for me to carry him around.
Mike was on call a couple nights last week but did get to enjoy some basketball on Thursday night. He was also on call for the weekend so he stayed pretty busy and we didn't see much of him.
I made it to Jazzercise a couple times. I met some friends at the Canteen Thursday night for some supper and drinks and then attended the Buffalo Bill Bash on Saturday night with so friends. Mike did not attend as he was on call and in Surgery until about 8.
The kids and I did get to enjoy some time at the park this week before it got cold. We were supposed to go to a play date on Thursday but cancelled due to Rachel not going to school. Friday night Sam came out and spent the night with us. The girls were so excited and Rachel enjoyed having a slumber party in the living room downstairs. Saturday night Rebekah came out and watched the girls and also stayed overnight. Sunday after church we went to Grandma Priest's and helped Auntie J celebrate her birthday.

Alec's real breakfast. We had purple pancakes.
Becca's dress that Grandma Wanda made for her.
She put it on and said, "It is so soft just like my blankie. I love it!"

Found this poem awhile back and find that this his pretty much how my life is most days.
