Lazy Days

    Not much to report on this week. We had a really low key week with much of it spent at home enjoying time together. Mike was on call a couple days and his family was supposed to come to town for the weekend but due to the extreme cold temperatures everyone decided to stay home or close to home.

   Rachel had a busy week at school. He favorite day of the week is Wednesday because that is the day that the 3rd grade class comes and reads to them. Her class also got to go and watch the 6th grade class perform a play for Dr. Susses birthday on Thursday.

   Becca was busy this week playing play doh. The girls both spent a lot of time this week with play doh and water paints. Alec was busy getting teeth this week. He got his first tooth on Tuesday. His right lower tooth came in first and he has been working hard the rest of this week to get the other bottom tooth in. He has been a little on the fussy side and really just likes for me to hold him.

   I kept busy this week holding Alec, attending Jazzercise, and cooking some new meals. I found a recipe for Chipotle Chicken Bowls. We all know how much I love Chipotle and Mike even thinks my version is better that the real stuff. I am not so sure, maybe because I had to cook it but it was really good. We may even have it again next week.

  Friday we get make it town for a nice lunch at Gracie Mae's with Laura. Rachel really wanted to go to Laura's house but always has a good time at Gracie Mae's. She even met a new friend on Friday.

  This weekend we took the kids in to an open house for a new photographer in town. She got a good picture of the kids. The funny part is that she took a bunch of pictures with Alec smiling but the girls would not be looking so the best one is without Alec's smile. After pictures we went to Hershey and ate lunch and then meet Auntie J at the school. She was there watching Mike's cousin play basketball and watching his daughter. We only stayed for one game as it was nap time. Auntie J then brought Jullian over to play for a while after naps. Today we just stayed home and had pajama day. It is too cold to take everyone out and Alec has a runny nose and a little bit of a cough.
