The Snow Finally Came

Rachel finally got her snow the end of this week. Trust me we had one happy girl. Becca really enjoys the snow as well as long as someone is outside to help fend off Roger for her and help keep her boots on.

Monday was school, Jazzercise, and home for naps and laundry. Tuesday after we took Rachel to school we went to Walmart. We didn't go on Monday because I thought it was to cold and then Tuesday ended up being colder than Monday. I am at a loss for trying to figure out this weather.

Wednesday Pat and Wanda were in town for a funeral for Pat's cousins husband. Mike took Rachel to school and I dropped Becca and Alec off at Grandma Priest's while I went to Jazzercise. After Jazzercise and school we came home and I got ready for the funeral. The kids all went to play with Gwen and Cyline while Mike and I attended the funeral and dinner after. I picked the kids up and took them to the Depot for a little while so some of Mike's family could see them.

Thursday while Rachel was in school we went to Jazzercise. After school we went to lunch at Gracie Mae's with Laura. After lunch we went to Lisa's to give Grandma Lou her medicine and insulin shot. Marty and Lisa left for vacation Thursday morning and needed someone to help Grandma Lou get ready for the day. The kids were kind of confused why we were at Lisa's and no one else was there! Mike was home Thursday night and not on call so I went to town after the girls were in bed for girl's night at Stacy's. It was snowing by the time I came home and we had a couple inches by Friday morning.

After breakfast Friday the girls played in the snow while I scooped and used the snow blower on the driveway. The Woodburn's came over for a play date. After lunch and naps the kids went in to play with Rebekah while I got my haircut and highlighted.

Saturday we played in the morning and then picked up big Bekah. We went to lunch at Tempura and Rebekah got to taste sushi for the first time. She was not the biggest fan but she did try it. Rachel on the other hand loves sushi. I think we are going to be in trouble with that one. After lunch we went shopping at the mall and I got a couple of new outfits for Vegas and Alec got some new shirts. Mike had a couple things to do at the hospital so we decided to go bowling. John dropped Sam off so he could go bowling with us. Everyone had a great time bowling and Becca loved her bowling shoes the most.

Rebekah came and spent the night with us and Rachel was really excited to have a sleep over with her! Sunday we got up and went to church and then went to lunch with Grandma Priest and Auntie J. After church we came home for naps and just relaxed the rest of the day. Mike had to go to the hospital for a while and got home right before the super bowl started. The girls played and I sorted clothes for Becca and Alec during the game.
