Where is the snow? That is a question Rachel asks me at least once a week. As much as she likes the snow I am kind of glad that we have some of the nice days we have been having. I do secretly hope that we get at least one good snow storm so the girls can play in the snow this year. We also really need the moisture.
We really had a pretty low key week this week. Monday was school, Walmart, and home for laundry and naps. Tuesday Rachel had school and Alec was not feeling very well so we did not go to Jazzercise. He was feeling better by afternoon so we meet Pat, Wanda, and Aaron at Applebee's after naps for snack. Mike has been putting in more hours at work so he was not able to meet us.
Wednesday we got to go to Jazzercise after we dropped Rachel off and then we just stayed home the rest of the day. I pick up one of Rachel's classmates, Kale on Tuesday's and Thursday's now. We usually drop him off at his daycare by the school but she was sick this week so his mom just came out to the house to pick him up. Rachel and Becca were both really excited to show Kale their house this week.
Thursday after school we meet Kale's mom at Runza. The kids and I enjoyed a nice lunch. They are all getting so much better at playing and getting along so I finally feel like I can take all three out to eat alone and manage to get through a meal without a meltdown. Friday we went to Jazzercise, the museum, met some friends at Gracie Mae's for lunch and then came home for naps. Mike was really busy on Friday so we did not get out of town and just enjoyed a quiet evening at home.
Saturday morning we got up and went to Alma. The kids all enjoyed seeing Tucker, Melissa, and Nick and meeting Tucker's new puppy Duke. The girls really enjoyed picking the puppy up and carrying him around. Poor puppy was probably glad we came home on Sunday. Mike, Nick, and Aaron went to the wild game fed at the country club. Rachel even got to go with them for a couple hours and met some new friends. She had so much fun and is finally old enough to do things with her dad, that Becca can't. Becca and Tucker played really well together and Alec enjoyed sitting and watching everyone.
The kids and I came back on Sunday morning. Mike rode back with Aaron. After naps we went to Hershey and watched Sean play basketball. Everyone was tired from the weekend so we just ate and went to bed after the basketball game.
