Busy Week But Not Many Pictures

   The cold weather is still here so we have been staying warm and playing inside. Not much to report for the week and even less pictures so here is a quick update.

   Monday Rachel did not have school due to teacher in-service so I had Johanna and Regan come out and watch the kids while I went to the dentist to get my stitches out and then went and got my hair done. Neighbor Melissa stopped by in the afternoon and gave the kids a whole box of used toys. Alec loves his new/used trucks and has been playing with them every day. The girls love to ride on the horse that Melissa gave us. Thank you neighbor Melissa for thinking of us when you clean out your closets!

My Three Princesses!

   Alec loves to dress up with the girls. I made him take the dress off when he spilled on it and he cried. He also has now started going downstairs and bringing the shoes up. I am sure when he is reading this in 15 years he will be so made but today he made a cute little girl and was very proud of himself!

  Tuesday Rachel had school and Debbie brought Hadlee over to have his 6 month pictures taken. Becca and Alec enjoyed playing with Barrett and Hadlee while they were here. Mike had a meeting Tuesday night so we had dinner and did baths without him.

   Wednesday after we dropped Rachel off at school we took some things to recycling in town, then got the oil changed and dropped off some stuff at Goodwill. We then came home for naps and picked Rachel up from school. It was Ash Wednesday so Rachel did not have CCD and we all went to church with Lisa. Mike was on call but joined us after church for soup and grilled cheese.

   Thursday we took Rachel to school and then went and got the tires rotated on the suburban. We then went and meet Kate, Hanna, and Dutch for some coffee before coming home for lunch. Thursday evening we meet Grandma Wanda, Granddad, Auntie J, and Grandma Priest at Ruby Tuesday's for Auntie J's birthday supper. After supper Josh {one of Mike's friends from college} came out to the house for a visit.

   Friday Rachel had school and the little ones and I packed bags and the car for our trip to Grandma Julie's. Mike left at noon to head to Breckenridge to go skiing and after school the kids and I headed to Mom and Dad's. 

   Saturday we got up and let the kids play at mom and dad's before we headed to O'Neill for Jaxson's basketball games. We had lunch at Merri and Darold's and then watched Jaxson's second ball game. After that we stopped at Sandi's to look at wedding decorations, then Nicky took the girls to play at her house while Mom, Alec, and I went to the shop to get clothes for Becca and Alec. It is so nice to have a place like that to "shop" but man do we have a lot of clothes! We then meet dad and he and mom took Alec home to go to bed while I went to town to pick up the girls.

  Sunday we went to church in Atkinson then stopped in Stuart and had lunch with Grandma Kohle and Patsy before heading home. It was good to see so many people while we were back but we did run out of time before we saw Grandma Tielke so we will have to make a special visit to see her next time. Mike got home Sunday evening and just missed seeing the kids as they were all shot from the long weekend and went to sleep as soon as they got into bed.
