December Is Here Where Is The Snow?

We are officially in December so where is the snow? Don't get me wrong the nice days have been okay for travel and getting kids to and from school without all the winter wear but really I am ready for some snow. It also needs to freeze and stay cold for a while so we can get rid of all this sickness that has plagued my family for the last 2 weeks.
This year Rachel got an extra day off for Thanksgiving break so on Monday all us girls had a dentist appointment. It was Becca first time getting her teeth cleaned and x-rayed and she did amazing. She loved everything about it. Rachel and Becca are both cavity free for another 6 months, I also don't have any cavities but I also can't seem to keep the crowns on my teeth so we are again making appointment to have a back tooth filled. Good thing I love going to the dentist. While we were at the dentist the neighbor Dee saw the Moose head our way and came over and took pictures and put Roger in the garage for us.

Since these pictures were taken this moose has been back a couple times and has our willow tree trimmed up as high as he could reach. He also trimmed an apple tree and one of our small pine trees for us (not in a good way)!
December first was a cold icy morning, Rachel had a late start at 10 am but Becca has school at regular time so we dropped off Becca then ran to Walmart before dropping off Rachel in Hershey and then running back to get Becca from school. Alec was still running temps of 104 every 6 hours so we went to see Dr. Shawn at 2:00. Alec has double ear infections, and stuff in his lungs so we started him on antibiotics.
Wednesday Becca woke up with a fever and pain in her ear so after taking Rachel to school we picked up some antibiotics for Becca. Wednesday night was the girls Christmas Pageant at church, Becca did not go as she was still running a temp of 104. Rachel was able to go with Kate and Hanna and then Mike was able to bring her home, so the little two and I ran through McDonald's for supper and then drove through Cody Park before coming home to bed.
So Pretty!
Thursday Becca was still sick so she missed school. We took Rachel to school and then spent the day hanging out at home. No Jazzercise for me this week. I am really missing it! Friday Rachel has school and Grandma Wanda came to town to watch the kids so that Mike and I could go to the hospital Gala. What a fun evening it was with friends. Mike was again on call but enjoyed the night without having to go to the hospital.
We clean up at times!
Saturday Mike had to go to the hospital most the day so the kids and I hung out and played. Alec and I enjoyed watching the NFR rodeo from Friday night. That boy loves his cowboys, he loved watching the rough stock events and cheering when they lose their hats ("cowboys" is what he calls them) and the steer wrestling, because they jump of their horses and knock over the calf!

He loves it!
Sunday we went to church and then had lunch at Grandma Priest with Wanda. Auntie J came to visit before we left. Sunday afternoon we watched a movie and just hung out as a family!
This year's Light display!

ZigZag is back and the kids love it!

Rachel's Princess drawing. We are still working hard on spelling!
