July 8 - July 14

  Monday July 8th we all were up and going early so we could stop by Michelle's to play for a bit and to give Ashlynn her birthday gift since we missed her party. After playing at Michelle's we all had dentist appointments. We did not have a good of luck this 6 months. Becca had one cavity and Alec had one cavity and needed all 4 bottom teeth pulled as his adult tooth came in behind his baby teeth without working them out of the way first. Alec is pretty proud of his shark teeth! After the dentist we came home to clean house and then went back to town for dinner at Marty and Lisa's for Sam's birthday. Pat and Wanda came out to stay that night.

    Tuesday we stayed home in the morning and I worked outside in the yard. I trimmed and mowed and sprayed weeds. I also worked in the garden a little. That afternoon I had to take Roger to the vet to have his ear rechecked. With the cooler weather and all the rain it is not clearing up like she would like so more antibiotic were put in. After getting Roger checked I ran a couple errands then came home and made BBQ Beef for dinner!
    Wednesday Leightyn Marie Murdock was born! Ashlynn is so excited to be a big sister and just can't hold her enough. The kids and I went to the library in Hershey that morning then came home and did house work. That evening we meet Tyson, Nicole and the kids at Pal's for dinner then they came and stayed the night on their way back to Omaha from vacation. Thursday Rachel and Becca had volleyball from 9:30-12. Tyson and Nicole headed home and then after volleyball we went to Kathy DeMoude's so the kids could swim. We were not able to stay long as Rachel had piano at 4 but the kids had so much fun while we were there. That evening after Piano, and some fun at Cody Park,  we went to a retirement party for Tim O'Halleran, one of Mike's partners and the Dr in the book "Heaven is for Real."

   Friday the girls again had camp from 9:30-12. Alec and I packed clothes and the camper and we headed to Mullen when the girls got done with camp. We took the camper to Aaron and Liza's and stayed Friday and Saturday. Alec had bites on Saturday morning so the kids slept inside on Saturday night. Nick, Melissa, and the kids also stayed at Aaron and Liza's. Saturday we had breakfast and then headed to Mullen to the fair grounds for the Simonson Family reunion. The kids played all day, inside most the time as it was really hot outside. The adults enjoyed cards and visiting. Sunday we packed up and headed home, we unpacked the camper and then headed back to town.We all golfed some then the girls and I went to the pool while the boys finished!
