July 15 - July 21

  Monday July 15th I ran to town stopped my Michelle's to meet Leightyn and then ran to Walmart for a new vacuum cleaner. I stopped out and checked cows on my way home then cleaned the camper out and moved it out back. I washed all the camper bedding and set off a couple bug bombs just to make sure none of us got any more bites from it. That evening Melissa brought over Traci and Mia's puppy for us to watch until they got back from their trip. The kids loved having the puppy around and she was so sweet with them.

   Tuesday I have a Dr.'s appointment that morning then I came home and worked on laundry and mowing. Rachel went to spend the day and night with Ella Becker and Becca went to Josie's for the night so Alec and I decided to go to town and have Chinese for dinner.

   Wednesday the girls were both staying with friends so got up and did yard work that morning and then Alec and I meet, Bri, Logan, Lane, and Ollie for lunch and then took them out to the Golden Spike tower for a tour. The kids had a great time seeing the trains and running around. Becca enjoyed the day with Josie at the water park in Grand Island and Rachel came home around dinner time.

   Thursday we checked cows in the morning and then Elly came over to play. Elly and Rachel then watched the kids while I went to town and got my hair done. Rachel then went to Elly's to stay. Maci came to babysit that night while Mike and I went to dinner with Stacy and Colton.

      Friday I worked on laundry all morning, we then went to Sutherland to swim. We had a great time at the pool and left just in time to come home for a quick shower before taking Rachel to piano lessons. That night we watched movies and just enjoyed being home as a family. Saturday we all got up super early and headed to town for the color run. After lots of complaining we all successfully finished our 5Ks and had a good time. Mike finished first and then came back and finished with Rachel. Alec, Becca, and I finished together. Becca complained about her feet hurting but did finish all the laps. Alec was about to cross the finish line and turned around to see where we were and tripped. Even with a little blood there were very little tears. Overall we had a good time! After the run we came home and just had a lazy day. That evening we went to church and then to Matt and Trisha's for a party for Alex their foreign exchange student from last year that came back for a visit.

   Sunday we all worked and played outside. Mike put a new window in the shop and I mowed. We then came in and cleaned up and enjoyed a movie night with popcorn!
