Monday I started a 90 day workout program. It is called a bikini body mommy, no I am not trying to be a bikini model. I just really like her 20 minute workouts that I can do at home and if I happen to get busy and miss a day I can double them up and still get them done in under an hour. So after I took the kids to school I came home and did day 1! I worked on laundry and cleaning up the house before I got ready and went to school to sub at 2:30. The kids rode the bus home as I had a Teammates meeting at 4 and just stayed at the school. Mike had a PA candidate dinner that night and after running Rachel in to practice at 7 I came home and put the littles to bed and the neighbor brought Rachel home.
Tuesday I took the kids to school then went to North Platte to drop off dry cleaning, pick up my medicine, and wash my car. I then came home and worked out and did more laundry. I picked kids up after school and dropped a group of 6th grade girls off at the D&N for practice. I then brought Becca and Alec home before going back to town and grabbing Rachel from basketball to head to Piano. That night we had leftovers for dinner and everyone was ready for bed. Wednesday I took the kids to school then got called in to sub at 12:20 for 4K. I was able to get a workout in and some office work done before heading to school. After school we had communion service at church and got out early. We then came home and had meatloaf for supper and everyone showered before bed.

January 11- How did you get your nickname? Gregg Hanzlicheck always called me Kamarooni
January 12 - Tell of any other nicknames in your family. Mister Krister, Bander Sander, and Katie Bug
January 13 - What did your father do for a living? Farmed for Carol Olsen, worked for a phone company and raised sheep, partnered with his brothers and grew Tielke Sandwiches and now he does crop adjusting in the state of Nebraska and is a county Supervisor. (You know this calendar is from a long time ago as it never asks what my mother did for a living as most women were house wives! But my mother, did book work for Gary Olberding and Grandma and Grandpa Tielke when we were little, then partnered with dad and his brothers in buying and running Tielke Sandwiches. She is still doing the book work for the Sandwiches now and they also run an registered black angus cattle herd.)
January 14 - Name the towns you lived in before you were 20. Age 1-18 Atkinson, Nebraska 18-20 Kearney (UNK for college)
January 15 - Name your childhood address. RR1 Box 74 Atkinson, NE 69101
January 16 - Tell a fond memory of your Grandpa: Grandpa Kohle - making mudpies for him on their cement feed bunk, riding in the back of the blue and black Chevy pickup Dove hunting, and sitting around the kitchen table (when we would get too noisy he would slap his hand down on the table really loud) Grandpa Tielke - Helping him deliver Dairy Supplies and the smell of his cherry tobacco he put in his pipe, Trying to grow taller than him, when he had his stroke I was the same height as he was in boots. I always told him if he took his boots off I would be taller as his boots had heal. He told me that it would not matter as the heal of his foot went into the heal of his boot!
January 17 - Tell a fond memory of your Grandma: Great Grandma Sloane would watch us some times while mom and dad went out, I remember playing with a wooden stool and wooden spools in her kitchen and the wooden elephants that were in her living room, and her orange couch. Great Grandma Davis would always come to our house for Christmas and she always had Ande's mints in her purse along with her bingo stampers. When we went to her house we would spin buttons and count pennies from her hall closet. Grandma Kohle made all the best food and when she made applesauce she always saved me a jar because I loved it so much. I remember helping her scrub pickles under the tree outside and jarring them for her because "your hand fit in the jars better than mine." When we stayed with her and ate supper she would always let us have a much bread and butter as we wanted and never got tired of buttering it for us. She would cut our cinnamon toast in triangles, we had ice cream before bed, and there were always oatmeal cookies in her cookie jar. As I got older I loved to call her and ask her how to cook a certain meal or to talk about canning and gardening with her. Grandma Tielke let us sleep on the air mattress on the living room floor when we stayed with her when Katie got burnt and bought us kid cuisine for our lunch for school. Then in Jr High and High School I loved working on Sunday's for her at Valentino's. She was always so kind to everyone and loved holding and snuggling my babies when we went to visit. She always told us that we were her favorite and when she "you knowed" that we could pick things out from her house to have.
