July 4 - July 10

    Monday was the 4th of July and the first time in a long time we did not get up early to head to a parade. Instead we slept in and then just hung out at home. Marty and Lisa brought Rachel back to town with them so when they got home we picked Rachel up and headed to the lake. We had dinner with Vince and Traci and some friends then Mike and Becca headed home while Rachel, Alec and I stayed to go out on the boat and watch the fireworks. It was amazing show out on the water and the kids loved it.

 Tuesday everyone was tired and slept in except Mike as he had cases early. We then spent the rest of the day at home cleaning and doing laundry. Rachel had piano lessons that afternoon and we had spaghetti and meatballs for supper. Wednesday Rachel started camp at the college. After dropping Rachel off I went and got a facial and then came home to make Ribs and mashed potatoes for supper. Thursday Rachel had band in the morning and then camp. After dropping Rachel off I came home to work around the house until it was time for my massage. That evening we got an inch of rain which was much needed. We had Italian chicken with broccoli and rice for supper. Friday after we dropped Rachel off at camp the littles and I headed to Kearney. We had a great day playing and shopping with Cindy. We also dropped off Rachel's flute to be tuned for the upcoming school year. Mike was able to pick Rachel up after camp and take her to Sarah's. We then meet him at home and had a fire with the littles that night complete with s'mores!

    Saturday we went to town for the car show downtown. It was super hot but fun to see the cars and watch some trick motorcycle riders for a little bit. We then came home so I could mow and then went over to Jorgensen's for some drinks. Sunday we went to church and the Priest Picnic. Then Mike, Rachel and Alec went to the movie Thor Love N Thunder while Becca and I went to the Minion Movie. After the movies we came home and played cribbage and listened to the rain. The sun was so pretty that night we had to go out and take pictures.
