He Is Risen! Happy Easter!

We hope that everyone had a great Easter. We sure did miss being in Stuart this year for Easter but the girls did get spoiled all the same at Troshynski's! Now let's start back at the beginning of the week.
Wanda stayed Sunday night after bringing the girls home so Monday morning we hung out with her. Then I did laundry while the girls enjoyed being home and playing with their toys. Tuesday was another school day. Rachel is always so excited to go to school. She loves walking in and saying Hi to her teachers and playing with her friends. After school we went to Mike's office and played while Mike finished his last patient then we went for ice cream. Mike had a meeting and then Volleyball on Tuesday night so he did not make it home before the girls went to bed so we spent part of the afternoon with him.
Wednesday was the first really nice day and we spent the majority of it outside. Then girls rode bikes, helped take out the trash, played on the swing set, and in the sand box. When Mike got home each of the girls got to help him in the shop. Rachel worked on one side of the car while Mike worked on the other. She was pretty proud of herself, helping Dad.
Thursday Gymnastics had an Easter egg hunt. Each of the girls enjoyed finding eggs and opening them for candy. After gymnastics we had lunch at Gracie Mae's then dropped Rachel off at school. It was pajama day at school and Rachel was really excited to show off her George pj's. Becca and I enjoyed a play date at the park with Gennilee and crew, Kate and Hanna, and I finally got to meet Kate's friend Molly and baby Henley. After school we came home and had an early supper. Then Mike put the girls to bed while I went to town for Holy Thursday Mass.
Friday the girls went to play at Troshynski's while I had my Dr's appointment. We then dyed Easter eggs, had lunch, went to the museum, and Rachel and I went and got our hair cut. We then came home and had some excitement while we ate supper as there was a storm by Sutherland that produced a tornado and I'm not so sure that I didn't see a little bit of it in the form of a dust storm. The girls and I did go into the basement bathroom for awhile until Mike got home and told us it was all over.
Saturday we cleaned in the morning and Becca was pretty crabby because she had a low grade temp. We played outside some and then Hanna came out and played after her nap. Kate and Justin then came out and joined us for supper. I made Chicken Fried Steak for the first time and I will admit it turned out pretty well. The gravy needed a little more flavor. Maybe next time. Sunday morning we got up and found all the stuff the Easter Bunny left. Then we got ready and went to church. Mike had to go in and round before church which left me to get the girls and myself ready, along with making deviled eggs, and loading the car. Needless to say my plan was leave at 10 for church and we were finally rolling out of the garage at 10:15.  After church we went to Marty and Lisa's for lunch and an Easter Eggs hunt. It was a great afternoon and the weather was so nice that the girls got to stay in their Easter dresses all day.
Last night we came home, Becca napped a little and then we popped popcorn and watched HOP! What a cute little Easter movie. Becca did not sleep all that well and is still crabby today so I'm not sure what she is cooking up in her little body but I bet we will find out. We hope everyone has a great week, until next time. Enjoy this spring weather and pray for RAIN!!!

While I cleaned the garage, Rachel made bird food.

Here is her finished project.
Rachel was worried the Easter Bunny would not know who's basket was who's.
She made a sign for each of them.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Tielke for the Barbies!
Rachel could not find her basket and was sure the Easter Bunny forgot to leave it.

 Just the girl!
