It is that time of year again. Back to school for Rachel! She really likes her new school and so far has been ready to go each day. We will see by the end of the year how we are all doing. We are slowly starting to get into a routine. So here it goes our new daily activities.
Monday we were all up at 6:30 to get ready for the new school year. Everyone was ready in enough time to even get some pictures before school. Rachel has to be dropped off at 7:55 and we pick her up at 11:25. I don't have to take her to her class room this year, we just meet her teacher and all her classmates at the bus door. After we dropped off Rachel; Becca, Alec and I went to walmart to get groceries. We then came home had just enough time to unload the car before getting back in to go get Rachel. It was then time to come home eat lunch and get Becca down for a nap. Rachel has not been tired enough for naps but she is ready for bed by 8 that is for sure.
Tuesday we dropped Rachel off and then headed to town to take Alec to the Dr. He weighed in at 14 lbs 3 oz and is 24 1/4 inches tall. What a big boy. We then came home before picking Rachel up from school. After naps Rachel made a water slide with the hose so we set up a pool at the bottom and the girls had a blast.
Wednesday we just took Rachel to school and came home to do laundry and some cleaning. After naps the girls played on the water slide again. Thursday was another school day and more cleaning and laundry. Rachel does not have school on Friday so we all went to town and had lunch with Kate, Hanna, and Dutch at Gracie Mae's. Friday evening the Raatz family came out for supper and the girls all enjoyed playing on the water slide and we got some really cute pictures of the boys together.
Saturday we just played in the morning and Mike worked on his car. Saturday evening Mike and the girls went to the ranch. I went to town for dinner with friends and Lisa, Rebekah, and Sam watched Alec. Sunday morning Alec and I went to church and then to lunch. After lunch we came home and I did some organizing in the house. After I was done with my house work Alec and I went to the lake to hang out with Bill, Laura, Michelle, Shawn, Gennilee and her kids. When Mike got back to town I meet him and picked up the girls so they could swim and eat some pizza with everyone. Mike came home for some alone time and to rest after his long night at the ranch. He slept with Becca and she decided to get up at 5:30 and not let him get back to sleep!
So there you have it. I think Alec finally likes his car seat more and usually falls asleep. How you all have a good week. 6 days until the first Husker Game. GO BIG RED!!!!
