Sickness and Holiday

   What happens when your kids get sick? You stay in the house and clean a lot. That was the theme this week. Becca woke up on Monday morning with Croup and she was pretty sick for most the week. Poor girl got little sleep and could not kick the bad cough. She was finally better by Thursday and back to her normal self by Saturday.
   Monday Mike took Rachel to school and I did a lot of rocking and cuddling. We did manage to get out of the house to pick up Rachel from school but that was all. Tuesday we had to take Rachel to school then we came home had some more cuddle and rocking time, with a little cleaning mixed in and then picked Rachel up from school and spent the afternoon rocking.
   Wednesday Rachel did not have school but Alec decided he would start coughing also. Wednesday was a pretty sleepy day for both Alec and Becca. By Thursday everyone was feeling a little better so we ventured out to Troshynski's for lunch. We stayed until around 5 then it was time to come home for a quick bite and then Becca fell asleep watching a movie. Mike went to visit his aunts and cousins at Grandma Priest so Rachel and I cuddled and watched a movie until he got home.
   Friday we had a lazy morning while Mike went to work for a while then we got out Christmas decorations and decorated during the game. Becca helped decorate the windows then Rachel and I decorated the tree while Becca and Alec napped. Saturday everyone was finally feeling better so Mike, Rebekah, Sam, Rachel, Becca and I went to see the movie Frozen while Lisa kept Alec. The movie was Becca's first. She fell asleep about 10 minutes into the show and then woke up with about 10 minutes left. She did tell me that she really liked to watch movies in the theater! Pat and Wanda came to town to get some steel so after the movie we meet them at Applebee's for an early supper and then came home and put the girls to bed. After a visit with Grandma Priest, Pat and Wanda came to stay.
   Today we got up and ate breakfast then I decided we would take Christmas pictures. We got the kids ready and did some pictures inside then Mike and I got ready and we took a couple shots outside before the kids got to cold. You will have to wait to see the Christmas pictures until I get the cards ready to send. Sorry. The rest of today I worked on the Calendar for the Kohle side of the family. I have just under 300 pictures to sort through and pick out for the Calendar. I hope to get it done and ordered by Friday.
