Happy St. Patrick's Day

Yes I started this post yesterday that is why the title is Happy St. Patrick's Day! What a great day we had. Becca has a viral infection of the tonsils so she was a little crabby but who wouldn't be when there tonsils are the size of golf balls. I was lucky enough to get a good picture of the 3 of them so I am counting it as a good day!
Happy 9 months to Baby {Can I still call him that?} Alec. He had a Dr's appointment on Friday. He weighed in at 22 lbs, he is 29 inches long, and has a head circumference of 45 cm {17.7 inches}.  He found out last week that he can push himself backwards when sitting and while on his tummy. No crawling yet but don't worry he still gets what he wants. He can also go from all 4s to sitting. He says "Mama and Dada" and makes lots of noise most of the time he is awake. He is a great sleeper most nights, going to bed around 7:30 and getting up around 6:30. He is overall just a happy baby.
We had a pretty low key week; we stayed home most of the week but did make it to the museum on Wednesday for a little play time with friends after Rachel got out of school. Thursday after school we went to town and went for a walk with Michelle and Cinder. We then went for a late lunch at Gracie Mae's. Friday Gwen, Cyline, and Gwen's nephews came out to play for a while and after lunch the kids and I went to town and helped Auntie J sing. Janice has a cough and was afraid her voice would not hold up so we went in to help her out. After singing we stopped by the office to see Mike on our way out of town to surprise Patsy, Cindy, and Debbie with a trip to Lincoln to cheer on Devan at state basketball.
What a surprise it was. Nicky, her kids, Tera, Mya, Katie, and Jaidyn arrived first and surprised Patsy and Cindy at the restaurant and then Kristi, London, Brooklyn, the kids and I surprised them at the hotel after they finished eating. It was a great weekend to spend with the family. We went to Devan's game Friday night, then went and stayed at Kristi's. After the game on Saturday we all went to Chuckie Cheese, and then got a hotel and let the kids swim and stayed overnight on Saturday. What a fun weekend we had.
Becca started running a temp on Friday night and continued to run one on and off the rest of the weekend. I really didn't think much of it as she had no other signs of being sick. Sunday night when we got home she had a high fever and started hallucinating so I took her to the Dr. on Monday morning. Her tonsils are the size of golf balls and Dr. Shawn thinks she has a viral infection as her strep test came back negative. So Motrin and Tylenol and praying that she is over this soon as the nights are getting longer with less sleep.
Rachel also went to the Dr on Friday for her Kindergarten physical. She is 44 lbs and 45 inches tall. She got her blood drawn like a big girl without any tears and had fun talking with Dr. Shawn. She also fell down after school on Thursday so she has a nice mark on her forehead.
