This week was all about all things Christmas. Christmas decorating, Christmas Program, Christmas Pageant, Polar Express, Ugly Sweater Party, and Christmas Cards. We are going to do things a little different this time and I am going to tell you about our week with pictures. I am hoping to make this a new thing for next year as my goal is going to be to take a picture at least every day and hopefully it will help me get some better, or more realistic pictures of the kids as they grow. Some will be with my phone but I am hoping to take more with my camera as the pictures are so much better. So here we go, first we will start with a couple older ones as I just got them downloaded off of my camera.

Monday we took Rachel to school and then ran to Walmart really quick before the Electronic people were supposed to come out and hang up the screen for the projector. They didn't end up coming until Monday evening but slowly we are getting closer to having the theater room complete downstairs. I will post pictures once we get it all done.

| Becca all ready for Rachel's Christmas concert. |
Tuesday was Rachel's Christmas concert at school. Mom came to town about 2:30 and we were able to surprise Rachel when she got home from school as I did not tell her Grandma Julie was coming to town. Becca woke up Tuesday morning complaining that her throat hurt and she had been battling a yeast infection so her and I got to take a trip to town Tuesday after school to see Dr. Shawn. I am so thankful Mom was here and she was able to feed and get the other 2 ready while I got Becca to the Dr so we could get on some medicine to make her feel better.

Grandma Wanda, Granddad, Auntie J, and Grandma Julie all got to attend Rachel's Christmas program this year. We were very thankful for the beautiful day. Grandpa Bill tried to make it in time but was running late so we taped Rachel's part of the concert and he got to watch it when he got to our house. After the concert we came home and put the kids to bed and then enjoyed a nice dinner with Pat, Wanda, mom, and dad. Mom and dad stayed with us while Pat and Wanda went to stay with Grandma Priest. Wednesday morning we all meet in town for breakfast after dropping Rachel off at school. Grandma Priest and Auntie J also got to join us for breakfast.Alec, Becca, Mom and I did some shopping and then we came home for naps while Mom headed home.

| Meeting Santa again. |
Thursday night we traveled to Kearney to ride the Polar Express. Mike ended up having to take call so Sam was able to join us. Thanks to Cindy we arrived in Kearney with a little time to spare and meet her at Qudoba for a quick bite to eat before she took Alec home and the rest of us boarded the trolley. The first stop was downtown Kearney for Hot Cocoa and Cookies we then traveled to the North Pole {Kearney Country Club} while listening to someone read the Polar Express. When we got to the North Pole Santa came on the trolley for some pictures and gave all the kids a Christmas Bell. We then went back to MONA and stopped by Cindy's to play for a couple minutes and pick up Alec. It was a late night but it was so much fun. Becca enjoyed everything and was so excited, Rachel had some questions and even made a comment about knowing that we did not go to the North Pole.
Friday night was Mike's office Christmas Party so the kids went to Lisa's Ugly Sweater Party. I did not have any ugly sweaters for them so we decided to make some. Rachel wanted to make shirts with all the things Lisa calls them so here we go:
 |
| Alec is Fat Butt |
 |
| Babs always says, "Hi Little Lamb" when she sees Becca. |
 |
| Becca also wanted you to see the back. |
 |
| Rachel and Lisa always tell each other, "Have a Rotten Day" |
 |
| The back of Rachel's |
Saturday Mike worked on the theater room and we moved the furniture from downstairs up and the upstairs stuff down. After I laid the little ones down for naps I went to town and got most of my Christmas shopping done. Saturday night we then went to town for another Christmas party. I think that is the last one for this year! Sunday we went to church and then after naps the girls helped me with Christmas Cards before we watched our first movie on the big screen with the projector.

| Rachel was my licker/stamper, and Becca put the finished cards in the box. |
