December has just begun and I am already running behind. Here it is Wednesday night and I'm just making myself sit down and type this up before the week is over. Last week was just a busy week getting ready for Thanksgiving. Rachel only had school on Monday and Tuesday so they were my only semi normal days. I went in and got my hair highlighted and cut on Monday while the little two napped at Lisa's and then Tuesday Cathy, Bentley and Kyler came out to play in the morning and we watched baby Hadleigh in the afternoon while Debbie ran to the Dr.
Wednesday we decided to put up our Christmas decorations since we were leaving Thursday morning and not sure which day we would come back. The girls and I put up the tree and got most of it decorated while Alec was napping. Then after nap we finished it up and I finished the rest of the decorations after everyone was in bed. I do have some picture of decorating the tree on my camera I just didn't get them uploaded just yet. We also took pictures for our Christmas card on Tuesday night but I will wait to post them until I send out card as not to spoil our Christmas card for anyone.
Thursday we got up and headed to O'Neill for Thanksmas with the Tielke side. The kids all had a great time playing with their cousins and it was nice to see some of the family I have not seen in awhile. We stayed with Sandi on Thursday night and then went out to mom and dad's on Friday to watch the Husker's play and so the kids could play with Ansley and Kinley. We stayed with mom and dad Friday night then headed home Saturday morning. We stopped at Auntie J's to pick up some of Mike's stuff that he left at the ranch and enjoyed seeing her whole family for a couple of minute. Saturday afternoon we spent outside putting up Christmas decorations.
Sunday we went to church, out for lunch, and then went to Menard's for some more stuff for the basement and a few more Christmas decorations. The rest of Sunday was spent inside as we dropped from 65 degrees on Saturday afternoon to 16 degrees on Sunday. It was cold.
