Signs From Above

They say they are always watching, sometimes we just miss their signs. Last week Grandma Tielke was letting me know that she is always watching. We got to see 2 rainbows; the second one was so bright that the kids even noticed it was we were getting in the car to head to town.
We enjoyed our extra day on Monday by letting Alec sleep in and Mike took Rachel to school. I did laundry most of the day and then played with the kids. Monday evening was the first rainbow of the week and it was a full rainbow with a double rainbow just for a couple minutes. We only received a little bit of the rain and a lot of the wind.

Tuesday we took the girls to school and then went to visit Lisa before going to 9:30 Jazzercise class. Lisa is still in some pain from her neck. She is not really sure what is going on but a pain injection only made it a little better. Tuesday night Hanna and Dutch came out to play while Kate had a meeting and Justin was in surgery.
Wednesday we took Rachel to school and then went to Jazzercise. Johanna came out to watch the kids so that I could run some errands and go meet Bill and Laura's new baby Emma. I came home and picked up the little two before going to get Rachel from school. The kids played outside until it started to rain and by then it was time to eat and head to town for CCD. I had a mentor meeting Wednesday night after CCD so that I can be Rebekah's mentor for confirmation.
Hard to see but just was pretty
Thursday we took the girls to school and went to Jazzercise. Alec and Becca then went to play at Kate's while I came home and packed the car to head to mom and dads. Rachel got out of school at 1:45 for a teacher in-service and after stopping to get the little two and a quick stop by the hospital to tell Mike bye we were off. We made it all the way with only two short stops for Rachel to go to the bathroom. We got to Nicky's house in time to eat a quick bite of supper and pick up Ansley then we went to Sandi's house to spend the night. Alec had an upset stomach that night but went to sleep and was fine the rest of the weekend. Kids are so hard to understand sometime.
Love driving in the evenings!

Friday Becca and I went to Tera's to meet baby Owen and to play with Mya. We then picked up lunch and after dropping off a sandwich for mom we headed to Katie's to see her new house and let the kids play. I then had a massage with Kelly Kohle at 2:30. Kinley watched the kids for me and Sandi took a nap. Friday night we went to the fish fry at the KC hall then went back to Sandi's for the night. Alec and Becca went home with mom and dad so just Rachel and I stayed with Sandi Friday night.
Saturday we got up and went out to mom and dad's to spend the day. Pat, Wanda, Mike and Aaron came up to look at dad's bulls. After looking at the bulls and the cows we went to town for supper. Kinley again watched the kids so that we didn't have to try to entertain them while we ate. Mike stayed with us at mom and dads that night.
Sunday we got up and packed our things and headed to the ranch to get Mike's car. We enjoyed playing outside and having lunch with Pat and Wanda before coming home. It was so nice when we got home that Mike and the kids washed his car while I unloaded the suburban and trimmed some of the trees out back. What a great week we had with lots of laughs, memories, and quality time as a family.
Atkinson is so exhausting!
