March Came In Like a Lamb

March came in like a lamb! Now I am hoping that the out like a lion part is not a huge snow storm since that will be Easter weekend! Spring is coming and some days it seems to be here then the next it reminds us that we still may be in winter. My bulbs are all starting to come up so I am really hoping it stays nice!
We finished out February and marched into March with a busy week. Monday the kids had school and then Elly came over to play after school. Tuesday after taking kids to school I went to Menards and Walmart. I came home and unloaded the car before picking up Alec and heading to town for lunch with Babs. Mike had a meeting after work and the kids had a great time playing outside after school before coming in to eat and shower before bed.

Becca pulled her first tooth!
Wednesday the kids had school and I came home and worked on house stuff. Alec and I went to town and had coffee with Traci before coming home and grilling steaks for supper. Thursday the kids had school and I ran to town and ran some errands. Bree, Elly, and Cloe all came to play after school. Cloe stayed the night since the kids did not have school on Friday. Nick was headed to the ranch to help and stopped to take Alec with him. Alec was so excited to spend the weekend with Tucker!
Friday I had already arranged a play date at the children's museum before I knew Alec would be gone so I took the girls. We also picked up Grace and Elly. We all had a great time at the Museum and then at lunch after at McDonald's. They just build a new McDonald's here and up can go inside and use a touch screen to order your whole meal without talking to any employees. The kids had so much fun ordering their own food and having it delivered to our table.

Lunch at McDonald's
After lunch we took all the girls home and then decided to take the dogs for a run. We ended up doing Day 1 of Couch to 5K. The girls both did very well and it was so nice to be able to do something with both of them and the dogs and to be outside. We ran back and forth to the mailbox and had a great time. That night we just relaxed and watch Harry Potter.
Saturday we went to Maxwell and watched Sam play basketball then we picked up Elly on the way home. We played in the shop and outside and then rode bikes. Saturday evening we went to a friend's house for a crawfish boil. It was so much fun to talk with friends and the kids had a great time playing.

Sunday we went to church and then out to lunch with Nick and the kids. We then came home and made banana bread, banana muffins, and zucchini bread to take to the mountains. It was a long day of baking but the kids had a great time helping and it all turned out so good. We got everything cleaned up and watched the final Harry Potter movie. The kids all thought they were so good and I can't wait to start another series with them soon.
