April 1 - April 7

  Monday I took the kids to school then came home and ran on the treadmill. I then ran back to town and got Alec and we came home for lunch. That afternoon I worked on the computer and did some office work. Rachel had GOTR so Becca rode the bus home. When Mike got home we made Jessie a new dog bed and then I ran to town to grab Rachel and sign Becca up for T-Ball. Becca was so excited for T-Ball this year but they did not have enough girls sign up so she could either play with the boys or move up to coach pitch in North Platte. She didn't really want to do either option so instead we are going to try dance and gymnastics for the summer. She is very excited to try these new things and can't wait for June to get here so she can start her new classes. After dinner Mike and I did a little photo shoot with Alec. Alec has been very into spiking his hair up and he found out if you spike it up before you go to bed after a shower it stays all day.

 Monday night we also finished Rachel's diorama so she could take it to school on Tuesday morning. I thought it turned out really well. The only things I helped her with was the sand and labels.

    Tuesday I took the kids to school then came home and worked out. After picking Alec up I worked on laundry in the afternoon. We then went and picked the girls up from school and Elly came to play until we had to go to town for Alec's first soccer game. Alec was so excited for his game and he played really hard. His team won and he scored 2 goals.

    Wednesday the kids had school and I went for a run. We then had lunch at Switchyard with Mike after Alec got done with school. Alec and I came home that afternoon and played and did some house work. The girls had CCD and I grilled pork chops for supper.

   Thursday the kids had school and I went to Stephanie's and watched Claire and Ellie while Stephanie went to drive for Grace's field trip. I had fun playing with Claire and Ellie while Stephanie was gone. Alec and I came home after school then we went to pick up Becca and Delcey while Rachel went to volleyball practice. Becca has soccer practice at 5:30 and Delcey had practice at 6 so Alec and Delcey played at the park while Becca practiced and then Jen brought Rachel to town after practice. Thursday we also received Flat Tucker. Flat Tucker was a project Tucker needed to do for school, our job was to take him with us on our weekly adventure's and take pictures and write a letter about his week. So Thursday Flat Tucker saw the Crane's on the way to town and played at the park.

   Friday the girls had school and Alec had a play date here with his classmate Ryker and Ryker's little brother Mason. I enjoyed visiting with Courtney while the boys all played. Mike got home early that day and Alec enjoyed helping him fix fence out back and move the old dog house into the trees for a play house. I ran to town and did some errands before going to pick the girls up from school. Katie and Ava stayed to play for awhile when they came to pick up Bree. It was nice to be outside in nice weather finally. Maci came over to babysit that night while Mike and I ran to town to have dinner with Stacy and Colton. 

   Saturday Alec and Rachel had soccer games. Becca was supposed to have one as well but they moved it from 9 am to 12:30 pm so we did not stay for it as we had already planned to head to Grand Island for the horse races. Becca was a little disappointed as she loved soccer but she was so excited to see her cousins she didn't mind as much. The girls also missed the daddy daughter dance this year. We made it to the horse raced during the 3rd race. We enjoyed the nice weather and watching the horses before going to the hotel to swim and play with all the cousins.

Headed home after a fun 24 hrs

   Sunday we got up and had breakfast then the kids wanted to swim again. They swam while I packed up the room and packed the car. We then came home and got Rachel to volleyball practice. After dropping Rachel off at practice we headed to the Campbell section to drop off some panels before coming home to clean out the raised beds and Mike started to tear up the ground for the new garden. What a fun and long weekend.
