March 18 - March 24

Monday Alec did not have school due to spring break so we took the girls to school and then came home. We went to town for lunch with Mike and ran some errands before coming home to meet Becca off the bus. Rachel had GOTR and then went to Jen Hampton's for dinner before going back to school for volleyball practice. Alec had his first soccer practice and to say he was excited would be an understatement. Alec was dressed and ready for practice as soon as we got home from lunch.

Tuesday the kids all had school and I came home and started washing laundry for the weekend. The girls rode the bus home and then the kids all got their soccer stuff together and we headed to town for practice. After practice we meet Troshynski's at Margarita's for dinner because Babs was back for spring break.
Rachel's first practice
Wednesday I took the kids to school then got the oil changed in the Yukon and took it through the car wash. I then went to a run while I waited for Alec to finish school. Since Mike is on call the weekend of Rachel's GOTR event I started training to run with Rachel. After picking up Alec we picked up some food and had lunch with Mike. That afternoon we came home and did house work before grilling hamburger's for supper.
Picnic Lunch at the office
Thursday I took the kids to school then came home to pack the car and finish cleaning the house. Babs picked up Alec from school and Jimmy John's for lunch. Mike got home around noon and we finished packing the car and then picked up the girls and headed to Breckenridge. The kids were so excited to get there they watched movies the whole way and we only had to stop once. We stopped in town to get everyone fitted for ski's before heading to our condo.

Alec was so excited to sleep and snuggle Dutch
Friday we were all up early to get ready to head to the mountain. The boys had ski school all day and the girls and Babs did a family group lesson. They all improved so much in a day. The boys made it to level 3 and the girls completed lots of runs. Rachel did ski into a tree and scratch her face and Babs hit the snow fence but overall they had a great time. Kate and I enjoyed our time at the bar and then went back to the condo to clean up and then walked back up to Peak 8 in time to get the kids from ski school.

Waiting for everyone to get done skiing

Waiting for the kids was a little warm
Saturday Mike and Justin took Rachel and Hanna skiing. They skied 19,000 vertical feet and rode 15 lifts. The girls loved every minute of it and wore the dads out. Kate, Babs, and I took the boys and Becca to Frisco to snow tube. We had a great time riding down the hills with the little one. We then went back and Kate and I napped and watched a movie while the kids played. We went to dinner that night at Legend's Italian Steakhouse.

Sunday the Raatz family hit the road before 6 as they had a 12 hour drive without stops. We left around 7:30 and got home just after 1. The girls stayed home while Mike, Alec and I went to town to pick up Jessie and to drop off a key to Grandma Wanda at Grandma Priest's. We then got some lunch and icecream and headed south to look at the Simon ground and the go work on the windmill on the Campbell section. Alec had a blast running around playing in the trees and taking the dogs to get water. That evening we all went to bed early as we were still tired from the long weekend.
