March 8 - 14

Monday March 8th the kids had school and I came home to get everything out of the way so Scott Sawyer could start installing our new windows. After school I ran the kids home and then went back to school for a Teammates meeting. Rachel then had basketball at 5 at the D&N.

Out with the old

Tuesday Alec was sick with the flu so he stayed home. I ran Rachel and Becca to school quick then came home to cuddle with Alec while they worked on installing the basement windows. I made chicken burritos for dinner and we had just enough time to eat before Rachel and Becca had basketball. Mike stayed home with Alec since he was sick.

Wednesday Alec was feeling much better so I took him back to school at 11:30. Then I went and picked up Lisa's dogs and went to Walmart. It was cold and rainy so they just finished the windows on the back side of the house. After school we had CCD then came home and had leftovers for supper. Thursday the kids had school and after drop off I came home to workout. I then went to town for lunch with Mike, Wanda, and Auntie J. After school I picked up kids and we came home and played outside with the dogs. (Marty and Lisa were out of town so we had their dogs for a couple days). They installed the 3 big living room windows today and they also came out to install our gutters. Friday the kids didn't have school so we went to the Children's Museum and the library to get the kids library cards to stay out of Scott and Laurie's way. After playing at the museum we went to lunch at Tempura. We then came home and Rachel and Alec did their thing while Becca and I cuddled and watched a movie. That night Mike and I went to Cedar Room for and interview supper. Friday they finished installing all the house windows and they all look so good!
Saturday Rachel, Becca and I headed to Imperial to watch Rachel play in another volleyball tournament. They ended up getting 3rd place and only lost to a couple of 6/7th grade teams. Mike and Alec stayed home and worked around the house until Alec had to go to town for his friend Bryce's birthday party at Wild Bills. That day we got 1.49" rain. After volleyball I came home and worked out then that night we watched movies.

Sunday we got another 1.48" rain which was all greatly needed. That morning we went to church and then to lunch at Wild Bill's. After church we came home and cleaned and rearranged the girls rooms. We played some games that afternoon and everyone went to bed early. I noticed Roger acting different before church then that afternoon I finally took the time to look him over and found a big sore on his back leg. Poor guy always had something going on.

March
8 - What were the consequences of getting in trouble? There was none as I never did anything major to get into trouble. If we got in trouble with mom we usually had to clean.
9 - What was your favorite radio program? Since we had TV radio programs were not that common but we listened to 102.9 FM KBRX and they did have party line each morning so we always listened to that while making Sandwiches and it was entertaining at times.
10 - What was your favorite movie as a youth? Why? Dirty Dancing. It was one of Mom's favorite's and we watched it all the time. We also loved Grease for the same reasons.
11 - Did kids ever tease you? About what? I can't remember ever being teased.
12 - Tell of a difficult school essay or term paper assignment. I remember doing a paper on the Trail of Tears in grade school and probably the hardest one I ever did was an Evolution paper in college or me senior project paper in College.
13 - Tell about your first smoke. The first time I smoked (I have only smoked twice) was one weekend I was home and Sandi, Katie, and I went driving around with some beer and Sandi had some cigarettes so we all smoked one.
14 - Do you remember your first pizza? When we were in grade school we would get book-its for reading and doing a small report on books. Each month we would then get a certificate to get a personal pan pizza and mom and dad would take us to Pizza Hut to use them. It was always a big deal to get our own pizza!
