May 16 - May 22

Monday May 16th we started the final week of school for the 2022 year. I took the kids to school and came home to do laundry and house work. I then ran to town in the afternoon to do a few errands before picking up the kids and coming home. Becca could not wait to get home and go sit with the puppies. She spends most of her time with them these days. Tuesday I took the kids to school and came home to work around the house. After school we brought the girls home and then Alec and I headed to Cozad to watch Tucker play baseball. It was a beautiful night for a ball game and we enjoyed watching Tucker play. We then grabbed some dinner and headed back home for bed.

Wednesday was the kids last day of school and they got out at 11:30. After school we went to the ball fields in Hershey and downtown to plant flowers for Teammates. Alec went with Beckett after school and had a great time playing at Beckett's grandma's house. After we finished planting flowers I dropped the girls off at home and went to Kearney to see Tessa and family. Her dad passed aways and the funeral was on Thursday but I couldn't attend so I went on Wednesday evening to see them. I enjoyed visiting with all of them and then came back home around 9.

She had to have one with the puppies

Each year they change

Each year they grow

Each year these are my favorite pictures

Rachel with her mentor Nancy. I could not have picked a better person for her to be aligned with.

Thursday the kids enjoyed sleeping in and I ran to town for a hair appointment and a massage. Beckett then came out to play and meet the puppies. That evening Mike and I enjoyed going to town to listen to a comedian for a fundraiser for Bridge of Hope. Friday I worked on laundry and around the house in the morning and then mowed in the afternoon. We all spent the afternoon outside working around the house and enjoyed the start of summer.

Growing so much and enjoying the outside kennel

Saturday Mike took Rachel and Becca to the Campbell to help him fence while I took Alec to baseball practice. This is Alec's first year and he is unsure if he likes it or not. He loves spending time with his friends. After baseball Alec and I came home to lay mulch and do more yardwork until Mike and the girls got home. That evening we enjoyed a fire and the summer night. Sunday we went to church and Mike went back to the Campbell to do more fencing. When the kids and I got home we cleaned the garage and then enjoyed playing in the back yard.
