April 10 - 16

    Monday April 10th the kids didn't have school due to Easter Monday. Rachel had volleyball practice form 8-10 and then track practice from 4-6. Mike had to work and after work we surprised Rachel with a new flute so she could use it at district music. The pictures do the best as describing how she felt.

   Tuesday the kids had school and I stayed to help Becky with Teammates stuff before subbing for 6th Messersmith at 10. Alec and Becca both had soccer practice that evening and after dropping them off I went back to school for a HELP club meeting. Thursday I took the kids to school and stayed for Rachel's first track meet of the year. She got 2nd in high jump, 9th in shot with a throw of 21' and 12th in discuss with a throw of 49'. We ended up cancelling CCD for the younger kids due to lack of teachers and Rachel was not done with track in time to go to her class.

   Thursday the kids has school and I had a facial at 8:30. That afternoon Demoin Adams from Teammates came to talk to the student body. After school we came home for a snack before Alec and Becca both had games at 5:30. After soccer we finally were all home and got to celebrate Rachel turning 14. (Now she can start practicing driving). Rachel Kathryn is 14. This is a girl who loves band and high jump. This is a girl that will choose a good book on the back patio over going out. This is a girl who pours love into her school work and her music. This is a girl who is very excited to start driving. This girl will move mountains in anything she puts her heart into!

   Friday I took the kids to school and stayed to sub in 6th Kennedy. After school we came home and had supper and then Christian came over to hangout with Rachel for her birthday. Saturday Becca had a 10 soccer game and Alec played at 11. After soccer we came home to pack and then headed to Kearney to go to the soccer game with Katie, Matt and the kids, Tera, Taylor and the kids. We all enjoyed staying with Cindy and Kent that night.

   Sunday we had volleyball at UNK for Rachel. The team played much better this week and came home with 2nd place in the Silver Division. That evening we all relaxed and watched a movie before bed.
