  We made it through June and are off to a slower start in July. So far we have stayed home most the time and enjoyed summer!
   Monday we stayed home and got ready for our busy weekend and rested up from the kids being at mom and dad's and having company.
   Tuesday Rachel started T-ball tournaments in Wallace. We went to Wallace Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for game and ended up winning 1 and losing 2 so we got 4th. Overall Rachel improved a lot this year and is not sure if she wants to play again next year. We will see if she changes her mind by May. She was a great batter and even got a couple doubles, she enjoyed taking her time running from one base to the next and was not great at catching pop flies but got better each game.

  Tuesday Rebekah and I took the kids to Alec's first movie. We went to see Inside Out. Alec did okay but wanted to go walk around after an hour. Wednesday Johnna Gifford was here with Becca and Alec while I took Rachel to the school library, to art class, and then to lunch for my birthday with friends. Thursday we stayed home and got ready for the weekend before the game in Wallace.

Art #3 Live, Laugh, Love

   Friday we got up and headed to Stuart for the 4th of July celebrations. Mike went golfing when we got to town and the kids and I went to watch sand-volleyball. Friday evening we enjoyed the rodeo before going back to Grandma Kohle's and shooting off fireworks. Saturday Mike and I got up and ran in the 5K, then we went to the parade and to Grandma's for lunch. After lunch Mike went golfing and the kids and I enjoyed the races at the park, the duck races downtown, and then we waited at Grandma's for the fireworks after the stock car races. Sunday we went to Granny Linda's cabin for the 3rd annual Grandma, Mom, and Kid cabin party. The cabin party is Rachel's favorite part of the 4th weekend. After the cabin party we headed for home!
