Family, Baby, and Swimming

   Busy week with family, baby, and swimming!! Monday Mike's family got together for breakfast at the airport, Mike was unable to join us but the kids and I went out and enjoyed a nice breakfast and conversation. After lunch we headed to Sutherland to swim for the first time this year, the kids had so much fun!!!

     Tuesday Alec woke up and would not put on a diaper and only wanted to wear Becca's underwear so we started potty training. It is not going too bad. We have good and bad days, and he now has his own underwear so he is not longer wearing Becca's all the time! We stayed home on Tuesday and did laundry and house work, then went to Raatz's for supper. The kids had a great time even when Alec was picking on Dutch. 

   Wednesday we went to the school for library day and then to Walmart. Michelle need a couple things so after Walmart we stopped in to see the baby. Alec and Becca were both in love and Rachel enjoyed playing with Cinder. After naps we took down Alec's crib and high chair. No more baby things in this house. Alec is doing pretty good in his bed. We usually have to put him back in bed once or twice at night and he even stayed in bed and napped for the babysitter this weekend.

   Thursday we picked up Hanna before art class and Becca even got to go this time. The girls all had a great time and Alec enjoyed some mommy time shopping. Kevin was coming through town so we got to see him for a little bit before we picked up Sam and the girls and headed to Sutherland for another afternoon of swimming. The Brunz family and neighbor Melissa and the boys also joined us at the pool for the afternoon. We then took Sam and Hanna back to town, picked up sweet corn and had grilled shrimp and sweet corn for supper.

   Friday we stayed home in the morning and washed all the bedding and rearranged Alec's room. When Mike got home we went to town to golf and have supper with the Troshynski's. After supper we dropped Rachel off at Hanna's for a sleepover. 

   Saturday Mike picked Rachel up after rounds while the little ones and I stayed home and relaxed. I mowed in the afternoon while Mike worked on moving a hydrant and some other yard projects. The girls and I then went to church before coming home and having supper and playing outside.

   Sunday Johnna Gifford came over and watched the kids while Mike and I golfed in a tournament at the Country Club. We did not even come close to winning but we had a great time. After the tournament we came home, had supper, and watched a movie before going to bed.
