June 4 - June 10

   Monday June 4th we cleaned the house. After working on the bathroom and laundry room there was so much dust on everything. The kids helped me scrub all the walls and wipe everything done. After a hard morning of cleaning we went to Qudoba for lunch and then Rachel went golfing with Mike while Becca and I took Alec to get his hair cut. After the haircut we went to Cody park for ice cream and a walk around the park to look at the animals. We came home that evening and I mowed and then made steaks for supper. We are loving summer so far!

  Tuesday Alanna came over to babysit while I ran to town and got my hair cut and ran errands. The kids enjoyed the afternoon playing outside before we headed to Hershey for Softball pictures and Rachel's first game. Rachel had a good game and we won 5-1.

   Wednesday we went to the school library to get summer reading books. Then we came home and I worked on laundry and decorating the bathroom and laundry room. That evening we went to see Grandma Priest and meet some potential renters for our rental house.

  Thursday we stayed home all day and worked around the house. We traveled to Wallace that afternoon for Becca's first T-ball game. The girls played good and won 30-11.

  Friday we spent the morning packing and when Mike got off work we headed to Mullen for Mike's 20 year class reunion weekend. The kids spent the night with Aaron and Liza while Mike and I went to Dismal River Club with his classmates for a Jerrod Neiman concert. It was a a beautiful night and a very private concert so we got to watch from the stage and their was a thunderstorm in the background. After the concert we took pictures and talked to Jerrod Neiman before heading back to Mullen.

  Saturday we meet some of the class at the golf course and enjoyed a round of golf before going to Shawna and Eric's for a BBQ.  Wanda took the kids to the ranch for the day and night. Saturday night we attended the Alumni Banquet and then went to the fairgrounds for an after party. Mike had a great weekend catching up with friends and reliving old times.

  Sunday we came back to North Platte and watched Nathan play baseball the went to Trisha's for Alex  (the exchange student) going away party. Pat and Wanda came out in the evening and stayed overnight with us.
