Thursday the kids all had school and I worked on the camper getting all the blankets and stuff ready to take it to the ranch for the weekend. That afternoon we hung up Christmas lights and stuff out front. I love putting all my Christmas stuff out. We don't ever plug the lights in until the day after Thanksgiving but I love pulling up to our house and seeing all the lights! We grilled steaks for supper that night and just enjoyed the nice weather. Friday we took the girls to school then ran to Walmart to get groceries for the weekend and a heater for the camper because as nice as it was this week it was going to get really cold for the weekend. After the girls got home from school we all packed up and headed north for our first trip in the camper. (Mike also took his pickup this time as we didn't know how we would get a deer back if he got one. Which he did so it was a good thing we had the pickup!) The kids loved being able to get up and walk around and having more space to stretch out. We make the kids stay buckled most the time but they did find plenty of reasons to unbuckle.

Saturday was a very cold day and we just enjoyed relaxing in the camper and watching the football game at Aaron and Liza's. Liza was gone for the weekend and Mike and Aaron spent most the day driving around checking cows, waters, and they even got a nice buck for Mike. That evening Pat and Wanda came over for supper and the kids loved playing together all day. Ashyln even helped the girls get dresses fancy in her dresses and makeup!
Sunday we packed up and headed back home. Rachel had basketball practice that evening so Mike stayed home with the little ones while I took Rachel to practice and walked with a friend while waiting. We loved our first trip in the camper. The back bed were Mike and I stayed was a little cold so we are looking forward to another trip with the heated mattress cover on next time.
