Monday August 26th the kids had school and I went to town and had the oil changed and tires rotated on my yukon. While my car was being worked on Lisa came and picked me up and we went to her house and worked on her new heat press and vinyl cutter. We made Becca a really cute new Panther's sweatshirt. After my car was done I came home and did some house work until the kids got home on the bus. We grilled hamburger's for dinner and enjoyed the nice evening playing outside.
Tuesday I dropped kids off at school then went to town and had coffee with Sarah and Capri. I then ran some errands before coming home to pick the garden and can Spaghetti Sauce, pickles, and Jalapenos. The kids rode the bus home and Mike worked late so we had leftovers and enjoyed reading books before bed.

Wednesday the kids had school and I come home and got the camper ready for our weekend of camping in Valentine. I also got the lawn mowed before heading to school to pick kids up. We walked over to the church to register the kids for CCD then walked back to the school. That night we had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. Thursday was picture day! We had a crazy morning but everyone get ready and to school on time. I had a hair appointment after taking kids to school. I then went to lunch with Wanda, Auntie J, Sherry, Larry, and Grandma Priest before attending a meeting at First National Bank with Mike about some new things going on in the community of North Platte. After our meeting we still had time before picking up kids so we went and looked at and picked out a new Ford Expedition.

Friday the kids had school and I stayed home and packed the camper. After school we picked them up came home and got the camper and met Katie in town with Bree and headed to Valentine. The kids look forward to this weekend all year, and Mike is always game to go golf with my family. We had a great trip up, ran into a little bit of rain and some water over the road but made it in good time. Saturday the guys all went golfing and we enjoyed a full day of playing outside with the kids. We played all kinds of yard game, caught lizards, watched the Nebraska football game, ate tons of food, and played lots of yard volleyball.

Sunday we all packed up and headed for the river. Most of us decided to try another year of tubing. The weather was so much better this year and we all had a blast on the river. A couple tubes flipped over but most of all a very enjoyable day. We enjoyed another cream can boil and just a great day at the river. That night a storm rolled in a hailed on the camper and all the cars. The hail ended up breaking all our skylights and lucky for us there was not a lot of rain with the hail. We ended up finishing the night in the camper and we were able to just duck tape the skylights up before heading home. Monday Mike and Dad went to Valentine and golfed the town course while we cleaned up and got ready to come home. We got home mid afternoon and unloaded the camper then Rachel and I practiced some volleyball before getting everyone to bed early!
