August 5 - August 12

   Monday August 11th Rachel and I went to Lake Maloney Golf course for a day of lessons for Rachel. I enjoyed following the boys around while they golfed. That night they had the shootout and it got over just before a huge wind storm blew in. The wind was so bad at our house that it smashed our grill and blew the glass out of our patio table. Mike was home with the kids when it happened. Maci spent the day with Alec and Tanner and they had a great time playing all day without the girls here to bother them.

   Tuesday Alec had his Kindergarten physical and lab draw at 10. I then came home and picked up Tanner and Rachel and we headed to River's Edge to spend the day swimming while the boys finished up their second day of golf. After swimming Alec and Tanner enjoyed some time on the driving range before we went to Cody Park and came home.

    Wednesday we went to the school to get library books and then went to eat lunch at Another Round. After lunch we enjoyed 7 holes of golf before heading to meet Katie to drop off Tanner and pick up Becca. Rachel didn't want to ride with us so she enjoyed the afternoon with Lisa. That evening when we got home I mowed and enjoyed the nice weather.

    Thursday we went to Cassie's house for a play date then came home to clean. Rachel stayed home with the kids while Mike and I went to Menard's and picked up a new patio table. That night we got 2 inches of much needed rain. Friday I got up and ran to Walmart before coming home to clean the house. Kate and Justin got here mid afternoon and Mike and Justin went golfing. Kate and I put together our new grill and then went out to the course to meet the guys for a drink. We grilled that evening and the kids had a great time playing.

  Saturday we got up and packed the cars and headed to dismal for the day and night. The guys enjoyed the day golfing while Kate and I enjoyed watching the kids swim and play. We then had a great dinner while the kids stayed at the rooms and watched TV. Bree was playing music that night and the kids enjoyed dancing and singing.

   Sunday we enjoyed a nice breakfast then we headed back to North Platte. The boys stayed to golf while Kate and I brought the kids home. We enjoyed picking the garden before the rain and a night of watching movies. Monday Justin went to Sydney to work while Kate and the kids stayed with us. We went to Wiesen's to visit Kate's old house and to play. We then went bowling and to cody park before calling it a day!
