October 10 - 16

    Monday October 10 the kids did not have school due to a Teacher In-Service. We spent the day working on project for the kids classes that were due in the next couple of weeks. Becca had her first volleyball game of the season that night and came away winning all 3 sets.

Tuesday I took the kids to school then came home and worked around the house. After school I had a Teammates meeting so Trisha brought the littles home. That night we had Chicken Bacon Ranch Taco's for supper before Alec's football game. It was a cold one but they came out with a win.

  Wednesday I took the kids to school then came home and worked on some laundry before going back to school to help set up the book fair. We then had church and loved that Father Sagar came to talk with the kids. We had roast and potatoes for supper before I ran to Sutherland to pick up Rachel and Jensyn.

   Thursday I took the kids to school then went to town to run errands. Mom and dad came down to bring us popcorn and watch Rachel play volleyball and Alec play football. They were unable to stay the night but we loved seeing them for the small amount of time we did.

    Friday I subbed for the Ag teacher. After school we had church pictures for the new directory. Nick and Tucker came to town on their way to the ranch. I ran over to Becky's DaMoude's that evening to watch the Husker Volleyball game with friends. Saturday morning the guys all went out south and shipped steers. They then went to Mullen for Brittni McCully's wedding while Rachel, Becca and I went to Scottsbluff for a march band competition.

   Sunday the girls and I went to church and grabbed some lunch. We then came home and worked around the house. Mike and Alec got home early afternoon. We all enjoyed a movie that evening. Mike and I also looked over some house plans for an addition to the house. We have been wanting to add on for awhile so we started talking with Josh at Wayne Dowhower Construction to come up with some plans that will work in our budget. Here is the first set of plans:
