Monday October 31st I subbed as a Para on the high school side. I then came home and made snacks for class and then helped at the trunk or treat. After the trunk or treat we went to North Platte to trick or treat before coming home.

5th Grade Friends

Tuesday the kids didn't have school due to Teacher In-Service. Sarah stayed overnight with Rachel. Josh Powel stopped by in the morning to go over house plans. They came out to add up to way more than we were willing to spend so it was back to the drawing board with a new way of doing an addition. After Josh left we went to town and had lunch with Marty, Lisa, Babs and Bleu. Rachel was not feeling well and had a fever which come to find out was strep throat. That evening we went to church for All Saints day and then to Becca's volleyball game.

One way I keep our busy lives in check

Wednesday Rachel was still sick so I took the kids to school then came home to do laundry before going to town to run errands. I then pick up the kids for church. We had Eucharistic Service and then came home. Thursday Rachel was still sick so I took her to the dr. Strep it was! I was going to run to Lincoln to watch Stuart at state volleyball but since Rachel was still sick we stayed home. I made meatloaf for dinner and worked around the house. Friday Rachel stayed home in the morning and then went to school at lunch time. I subbed for Dani in PE for the afternoon. Rachel went to practice after school and just did a walk through since she had been sick all week. That evening Alec and I went to town for Sam's football game. Another win and another great night of football.

Saturday Mike and I went to check cows and then stopped at Pal's for lunch and drinks before coming home to watch the Nebraska Football game. It was a lazy Saturday for everyone. Sunday we went to church and then came home and went through snow stuff for our upcoming ski trip. Rachel and Mike then started her bookshelf for her Ag project for school. They finished in time for all of us to sit down for a movie.
