July 23 - July 29

    Monday the girls went to Lisa's while I took Alec to the eye Dr. We then went and picked up some lunch and meet Tracy and the Hinton kids at the spray park to eat and play before the Hinton family moved to Hastings. After we played I took Alec back to Lisa's while I took the girls to the eye Dr. Everyone one had great eyes and we survived another year without glasses. With Mike's family history of bad eyes we take the girls every year and I am always glad to see another appointment pass without glasses. Monday evening Mike stayed home with the kids while I went out for dinner with Stephanie, Ryan, and Cassie.

   Tuesday we stayed home, cleaned, worked on laundry, and picked the garden. I mowed that evening and the girls walked over to Elly's and stayed the night.

   Wednesday I picked up the girls and Elly and we went to the school library then to Sutherland to swim. We had a great afternoon at the pool with friend and then came home, showered and enjoyed a movie before bed.

   Thursday I cleaned house and worked on laundry in the morning. We then dropped Becca off for a play date with Claire Schaffer at her grandma's house before taking Rachel and Alec to the dentist. Rachel had an appointment to get fitted for a myobrace to help her stop grinding her teeth and mouth breathing. Alec had to get a cavity fixed and filled. After the dentist we came home and played outside.

   Friday we spent the day cleaning and packing to get ready for our week long vacation and for the Raatz family to come to town. Kate and Justin got in around dinner time. We had a great dinner outside on the deck and the kids enjoyed playing dress up and running around all evening and late into the night.

   Saturday we hung out all morning and just enjoyed watching the kids play. Johnna came out that afternoon to babysit so we could go to Stacy and Colton's wedding. We enjoyed some drinks at Pals before the service and we were extra thankful that Rebekah drove for us all afternoon and evening.

   Sunday we had breakfast then packed up the car to head out for vacation. Our first stop was Tyson and Nicole's for a couple days. The kids love staying with them and playing with their kids. We enjoyed some drinks on their deck and hamburgers for supper that evening.
